Beautiful and walkable

This area is scenic and easy to get around.
Some info has been automatically translated.
Nona House, our charming traditional 3 bedroomed Dalmatian stone house is located 50 meters from Lučica beach, probably one of the most beautiful and extremely cosy beaches in Croatia. Safe for kids, and perfect for a relaxing family vacation!

The space
A short, 3 minute walk will take you from Nona House to the centre of Komiza village and the famous ‘riva’ – the harbor waterfront where all the local action takes place. Visit the local baker for delicious bread early morning (they bake bread from 4 am to late at night), the butcher for fresh lamb and other meats, the fish market for freshly caught fish…. Or simply sit at one of the great coffee bars and watch Croatian village life unfold in front of your eyes!

From Nona House the 100 meter walk to town leads you through the maze of old cobbled streets, with amazing architecture and the smell of Croatian home cooking enticing you to try your hand at preparing one of the Dalamatian dishes, such as lamb peka, grilled octopus or fish stew.

Nona House comes with the great Croatian decor and everything you need to relax during a family holiday. Eateries, coffee bars, supermarkets and all other amenities – even open air movies – are less than 100 meters away, yet Nona House is extremely quiet due to its location in a traditional family neigborhood. The location of Nona House is also ideal for taking the bus to any of the other villages on the island.

Nona House comes fully equipped with everything which one would expect in a family home, even a ‘konoba’, the inside open barbeque facility which Croatians love so much. Fresh linens and bath towels are provided, and cleaning services can be provided upon request.

Our guests come back time and time again, and references and contact details of loyal guests are available on request.

Guest access
The entire three floors of Nona House are at our guests' disposal.

From the street you enter into a cosy courtyard, with access to the konoba (open fireplace), with seating space for a large family.

The first floor of the house contains the open kitchen, as well as two bedrooms (one with double bed and a single bed, the other with two single beds) and a modern bathroom.

The top story of the house has a large attic with a double bed, as well as a covered patio from where you can view the sun setting over the sea.

Other things to note
Nona House allows to have a completely peaceful and relaxing holiday in Komiza, probably one of the best preserved fishing villages in Croatia. You will not find any late night discos or night clubs here!

I spend too much time: Reding
Hi, my name is Zrinka, and I live on this Paradise Island for twenty-seven years. I love meeting new people, and new lands - this 'travel' with Airbnb, renting the apartments, enabled me to travel to various countrys, to meet and learn a lot about dear people from all over the world, as well as about their tradition, culture and customs. Each guest for me presents a precious individual, sent just to me for a reason. That's why, you, my guests, are my friends, as well, and I will gladly, with you, share my experience of living on the island. Out of season, when all the tourist have left the island, returned to their homes, in a period of tranquility and rest, I enjoy kayaking from one pearl bay to another or walking through the surrounding nature. Mmmm...the scent of lavander and immortelle after the rain – priceless. Winter evenings I spend stringing beads, making bracelets I gladly give to my dear people as a gift. Before you book my apartment, please read the reviews and feel free to contact me if you have any questions, needing more detailed information. It will be my pleasure to help you. With best regards. Zrinka
