You will have complete, private use of the in-law apartment. Occasionally, the toilet runs. If you are not home we will attempt to contact you before entering the unit to correct the problem (jiggling the handle usually does it!) You may use garage space for bike parking if needed. With advance notice you can store your bags in the garage for a late check out.
Interaction with guests
We are usually available via cell phone or Airbnb app.
Here's a link to a guide of Clement Street 2 blocks from our home - restaurants, shops, etc.

NO SMOKING AND NO PETS PLEASE!
We live upstairs with our 2 children -- please no drugs, alcohol or inappropriate behavior. Please don't smoke pot. This is smoking, and we have a no smoking home. Our bedroom and the bedroom of our children is directly above the in-law, so the smoke will travel through the heat vents up to our space. If you plan to smoke, please do not rent our unit!
Quiet hours: 11 PM to 7 AM
Please respect quiet hours. We are a busy family -- 2 kids in school and 2 parents who work full time. We value our sleep and we will come and knock on the door if you're loud past 11 PM.
Please use common sense when it comes to safety. Keep the front gate completely closed and all doors locked at all times. If we need to leave the keys in a lockbox for you, we'll ask you ahead of time to provide us with a code.
Do not block our driveway or the sidewalk in front of the house. SF Dept. of Parking and Traffic may ticket or tow your car.
In the 18 years we have lived in San Francisco, we have never fallen out of love with the diversity and access to the great outdoors our neighborhood provides. We are avid hikers, cyclists, and runners and our 2 children also have a love of outdoor activities and a thirst to discover the cultural institutions in our back yard. We are food enthusiasts and love the fresh, local options and can help you scope out one of the many local farmer's markets to stock our apartment's full kitchen. We can guide you in "off the beaten path" experiences or getting into all the tourist attractions as well. We love to travel and have made many National Parks our vacation destination, as well as adventures in South America and Europe.
We live upstairs from this apartment and you will likely hear the pitter patter of little feet from time to time.
