Visit us in the mountains, at almost 1100 meters above sea level, and find tranquility..

Enjoy stunning views, hike (skiing or snowshoeing in winter) and finish with a delicious bath in Tyin. In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost).

The space
Welcome to "Veslebui" - our small cabin with modern comforts in the middle of nature.

**Indoor:**
In this charming cabin, we have arranged for a cozy and comfortable mountain holiday. The cabin has electricity, a simple kitchenette, a cozy sofa corner with a sofa bed and a double bed of 140 cm. There is room for up to 3 people, best suited for 2 adults - but if you have two children with you, it is possible to get room. Please feel free to contact us for booking in that case. Bedding can be rented for NOK 150 per person

**The Kitchenette:**
The kitchenette has everything you need for a simple meal preparation including a kettle, hot plate, fridge and cookware. Please note, there is no running water.

**Bathrooms & Amenities:**
For bathroom, toilet, shower and dish room, you only need to walk 50 meters to the common area. There you will find all you need for personal care and hygiene.

“Veslebui” gives you the opportunity to relax in calm surroundings, embrace nature and still enjoy modern comforts. If you have any special requests or questions, we are here to help you make the most of your stay.

You will have exclusive access to the entire cabin

**Outdoor area:**
You are welcome to explore the beautiful outdoor area around the cabin. Enjoy nature, go hiking, or relax with a cup of coffee outside in the fresh air. In this cabin you will also find outdoor furniture for the terrace.

**Main House:**
For bathroom, toilet, shower and dish room, you only need to walk 50 meters to the common area. There you will find everything you need for personal care and hygiene.
The wardrobes are divided in men and women, with 2 shared showers in each wardrobe.

**Sauna:**
If you want extra relaxation and wellness, we offer a sauna in the main house. This is available at an extra cost, and you can even book it for a private experience.

Please note that for an authentic and relaxing experience in the mountains, the facilities are simple and give you the opportunity to get closer to nature. We want your stay to be comfortable and memorable, so if you have any special needs or questions about accessibility, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Tyinstølen Tourist Cabin is beautifully located on the banks of Tyinsjøen, surrounded by a quiet cabin field.
Please note that the front desk is closed during low season (November-March) and the stay will be on your own.

Our cabin area provides you with an impressive view of Jotunheimen, with special attention to majestic Uranostind and Uranosbreen.

This place is a dream for outdoor enthusiasts, whatever the season. In the summertime you can explore amazing hikes and bike rides, while winter provides opportunities for great skiing trips. There are also excellent fishing spots nearby. For ski enthusiasts, you can literally put your skis at your doorstep!

Just behind the cabins, Tyinstølsnosi and Galden travel, two peaks that reward you with outstanding panoramic views and are available with relatively light hikes.

We also have a simple frisbee golf course by our area, the course is free and frisbee can be rented.

Tyinstølen serves as an ideal starting point for both skiing and mountain hiking. There is also a great stop for those who go from cabin to cabin. Some of the nearby cabins within a day of travel time include Fondsbu, Thomashelleren, and Slettningsbu.

About 20 minutes away you will also find a ski center with several hills, and the rental of skis and snowshoes.

If you need supplies, you will find the closest grocery store about a 15 minute drive away in Tyinkrysset, where the Joker store is open every day until 18. About 30 minutes away by car, you can visit Øvre Årdal, which has a small shopping center open Monday to Saturday until 11 pm, as well as the opportunity to explore the beautiful Vettisfossen on a great trip.
