About this listing
Our guest apartment is a comfortable home away from home. We do our best to provide any amenities guests might need while in the Beaufort area, whether it be for work, vacation, or to see a family member graduate from Parris Island.
1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house (sleeps up to 4). Lots of off-street parking for a trailer/boat/RV, quiet neighborhood, private entrance, bedroom balcony, wi-fi, full bed, queen sofa bed, portable crib and high chair, private kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and cookware. Within 5 minutes of downtown Beaufort, Port Royal, and Parris Island. About 25 minutes to the beach at Hunting Island, and about an hour to Charleston and Savannah.
Guests have access to the guest house, and we are more than happy to let them use our charcoal grill, or beach blankets and chairs, along with our pass to access the Hunting Island state park and beach.
Interaction with Guests
We greet every guest when they arrive, show them the space, and then let them have their privacy. We are close by in case any of our guests have questions.
The neighborhood is quiet and comfortable, a great place to raise our young son. The spanish moss hanging from all the trees is a beautiful feature that lends our neighborhood its name (Mossy Oaks).
Beaufort does not have any public transit. We do have a large driveway that can accommodate multiple cars, a boat, or an RV. Getting to Beaufort from either Charleston or Savannah is a pretty straightforward trip.
No smoking inside.

Owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest(s).

This was a wonderful lodging. Upon arrival Andrew's wife greeted me right away and led me to the guest quarters with private entrance. Everything was spotless. I was new to Beaufort and ample info was provided about beaches, restaurants and shopping. The quarters are very private, with a solid, yet comfy feel. It's quiet and calm, in a residential neighborhood, yet close to commerce. The kitchen has everything you need but I used it just for breakfast and went out for my other meals since there are really good restaurants nearby. The separate bedroom has a walk-in closet. The bath has a wonderful claw-foot tub with shower -- perfect for a relaxing soak. You'll be minutes from both downtown Beaufort as well as historic Port Royal and just about 30 minutes from Hilton Head. Runners can have options in the neighborhood and even a trail nearby; or can hit he beach, with pass provided by hosts. I recommend this host and would stay again anytime. I was by myself on this trip and felt safe and secure the whole time.
We had a wonderful time at Andrew's place! The apartment was super cozy and a perfect home for our stay in Beaufort. We were a party of three and the apartment was a great fit. We loved the South Carolina State pass which allowed us to explore the nature and parks nearby! If we ever travel back to Beaufort we will certainly check back for availability!
what a lovely guest cottage! we had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every moment we were there. my hubby, my seven year old, and i all loved it. we could not be more pleased with our stay. thanks again for letting us add an extra day, andy!
This was our first airbnb experience and it was fantastic!!!! We loved getting to stay in the heart of Beaufort and have everything within minutes of the house. The house was exactly as described and was really clean. The weekend we were there, the heat index was reaching 110-115 degrees and the one air conditioner was not cooling the bedroom. I contacted Andrew asking if he had an extra box fan we could use. We were prepared to purchase one either way. Instead of a fan, he installed an additional a/c unit in the bedroom window. Talk about service!!!! I was highly impressed with his determination to make our stay wonderful. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. :)
Andrew and his wife were welcoming and helpful. Their place was clean and cozy, well supplied, and near all of the attractions in and around Beaufort. Highly recommended!
This apartment was perfect for us. Andrew was incredibly helpful and they had tons of great information about the area for us with pamphlets etc. in the apartment. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. The internet was fast. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant with it's large trees and unique older homes. The waterfront in nearby Beaufort was impressive as was the old tree about 20min away that was used in the filming of Forest Gump.
We had a wonderful two night stay! Close to downtown Beaufort and our favorite beach at Hunting Island State Park! Weather was fabulous! Perfect getaway.
