The space
We spent over 2 years planning and building this cabin to be the perfect place to vacation, relax, and enjoy the area. The large windows provide magnificent views while the western red cedar walls and natural pine ceilings will take your breath away when you come inside. The hillside overlooking Frenchglen provides a panorama of the Malheur Refuge, Blitzen Valley, and Steens Mountain. Sit on the covered porch and listen to the sandhill cranes fly by and the coyotes serenade you in the distance while the sun sets on the Blitzen Valley.

★ During winter AWD or 4WD may be needed to access the cabin depending on weather conditions. The driveway to the cabin is not plowed.
★ Please remember you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but no one is living on site 24/7
★Due to severe allergies, animals and service animals of any type are not permitted
