Make this cozy woodland cabin your home base for exploring Southern Oregon. Nestled in the forested community of Rocky Point with easy access from a paved road, it’s perfectly located for adventures at Crater Lake National Park, Fremont-Winema National Forest, Sky Lakes Wilderness, Upper Klamath Canoe Trail, and nearby mountain lakes. A well-equipped kitchen, full bath, queen bed, and twin bunk beds await, along with a peaceful deck for stargazing and restful nights before your next adventure.

The space
Roe Cabin features a cozy open-concept, loft-style layout where the living and sleeping areas flow together in one welcoming space. The kitchen and dining area are thoughtfully designed with everything you need and enough room for a couple of cooks to prepare meals together. Just steps from the inviting sitting area—with comfortable reclining leather sofas—you’ll find a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds, making the cabin perfect for couples, small families, or friends looking for a comfortable woodland retreat.

Other things to note
We love animals, but this cabin is not pet-friendly. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs or cats. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the space comfortable for all guests.

Please also remember that Roe Cabin is located in a forested area very close to Upper Klamath Lake and surrounding National Forest and wilderness lands. Wildlife such as bears, hawks, cougars, raccoons, and other animals are part of the natural environment and may be seen nearby.

To help keep both guests and wildlife safe:

* Do not leave food, trash, or scented items outside
* Keep vehicle windows closed at all times
* Secure all garbage in designated bins
* Never feed wildlife

Insects & Seasonal Conditions

Because of our forest and lakeside location, mosquitoes can be present in our community, especially in the evenings and during warmer months. We recommend bringing or using bug repellent for your comfort.

Please keep screen doors and windows closed when possible to help reduce insects entering the cabin.

You may also notice spiders and other small insects inside from time to time. We do not invite them in, but they are a natural part of life in a forest cabin setting in the National Forest.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a forested area with lots of nearby trailheads for hiking and mountain biking and fantastic kayaking and fishing down the street. Homes are a mix of vacation homes and year round residents. Crater Lake Zipline is down the street. They also offer guided kayak tours and fishing trips. You can also arrange kayak or paddle board rentals with them for your stay.
