  • Jeannie has done herself proud. This apartment was wonderfully located on a quiet and walk-to-the-village street in Mill Valley. We were very comfortable, very well welcomed and cared for.

Our week in Mill Valley was peaceful. The gardens are relaxing and the views are wonderful. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, and private.

    Thank you.

  • We had a great time at this Mill Valley Jewel.. Truly what it is.. Jeannie was a great host. Had a whole binder and pamphlet full of things to do in Mill Valley and surrounding areas, she even listed her favorite restaurants in the area. Slept 5 very comfortable in the apartment.. Very cozy and beautiful place to stay! Thanks Jeannie for having us!

  • A great place to stay in Mill Valley. The view and light made the house very special, and it was nice to walk up and down the stairs to downtown Mill Valley in just a few minutes. I never actually saw Jeannie, but everything was just as it should be.

  • The location and amenities were wonderful. Jeannie was a welcoming host. We truly enjoyed bathing on the patio under the stars. We went to the Mountain Play on Sunday and it was so convenient to just walk over to the shuttle bus from the apartment.

  • We booked this place for my father for my wedding at the Outdoor Art Club. Although the apartment appears to be within walking distance, it is down a narrow street that I wouldn't feel comfortable walking down because of cars. There is technically enough space for 4, but that would mean 2 people in each bed, so if you are going to have more than 2 in your party, be sure you like each other! Very clean, nicely decorated, great views, and very cozy!

    Response from Jeannie:

I am so sorry the street seemed to intimidate you from walking, I walk down town daily and have never had a problem with cars. Many people who walk prefer to use Ethel as an alternative to Miller ave which is very busy.

  • We absolutely loved our stay in jeannie's cozy appartment! Everything was as described and the neighborhood is just breathtakingly beautiful (as is Jeannie's house!!) one morning we woke up with deers eating in front of our veranda! Also mill valley is not too far from san francisco. So if you prefer a nice and calm place than staying inside the city - this is where you should go! Thank you again

  • We wanted a place to stay for a few days while visiting Mill Valley and Jeannie's was just what we hoped for. It was clean and comfortable, and located perfectly for our needs. Jeannie lives in the house above the separate apartment she rents out so you get privacy as well as her availability if needed. She's a very sweet person we would have loved to get to know better if we'd had the time. And a plus for us were the deer that seem to live just down the hill below the deck.

  • We stayed in Jeannie's guest house for a long weekend and had such a wonderful time. Mill Valley in and of itself is just heavenly -- relaxing and lush and sort of otherwordly compared to the big city we live in. Jeannie's house is set up in hills among a forest of Redwoods. We saw deer in the backyard! The guest house is well decorated and completely comfortable, and it has everything you need to cook and entertain yourself. The bed is particularly wonderful and cloud like. But the absolute highlight for me was the outdoor claw foot tub. I took several hours-long, steaming hot baths out in nature. Jeannie leaves a little screen out if you're worried about privacy, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing, indulgent way to spend the day. Great hikes nearby too and we heard some great live bluegrass concert music over a delicious breakfast at the Sweetwater Music Hall. All in all, it was a completely lovely stay in a very charming town. Thanks, Jeannie!

  • As my first AirBnB experience, this one was wonderful. Jeannie really does a great job. The place had everything you may need from condiments and spices in the cabinets to soaps and lotions in the bathroom. The place was very cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It rained one of our two days there, so it was nice to have such a homey-place to stay in! There were instructions everywhere for things, so we had no questions about turning things on, how to leave things when we left, etc.

Town is just a nice walk away which was great. The two palm trees in the back yard--beautiful! It was very private and exactly what we were looking for.

  • Nice lady and some simple charm to place, but curtains need to be much heavier in cold weather, as in November when I was there, than sheers currently on windows and sliding glass door. Also, I smelled stale tobacco throughout, though non-smokers like me would notice it when a smoker might not. Would help if guests wouldn't break the non-smoking rule.

Born and raised in Mill Valley and a local realtor, I know the area well. I have a great passion for the outdoors and enjoy hiking the trials of MT Tam and Marin. With all the cultural events that SF has to offer this is really a great place to live or vacation.
