Neighborhood highlights

I love the walkability of my neighborhood and if you walk around you catch little peaks of steeples, paths, water and other historic buildings. The coffee shops are always a buzz and if you've always wondered what a Coffee Cabinet is, you can experience a RI icon on Main St. at an old fashion soda counter, Deleckta's Pharmacy...a must!!
We have some of the best new restaurants in the state and old school RI favorites too to enjoy, all just a short walk away!
Should you want to explore Newport, you may want to try a fun food tour in Providence or Newport which I just started in 2015, among other things it's a great way to spend an afternoon. Tours fill up fast so book ahead at Rhode Island Red Food Tours.

My work: Residential Properties & Founder of Rhode Island Red Food Tours
Lives in Warren, Rhode Island
Hi there, Thanks for checking out our page and considering my American version of a "pied-à-terre" within my historic home I share with my boyfriend, Paul. I know Paul & Paula, weird right?! I have 2 sons that are on their own now and after living on the west coast for a number of years they moved back to this charming little town too. I have lived here in this great house for 22 yrs, on what RI Monthly calls "The Best Street in Warren" in this Awesome Funky lil town. I have been a real estate agent for 22 yrs. and for the last 7 yrs. I have been operating Rhode Island Red Food Tours, in both Newport and Providence, so I am definitely a people person. Paul is an amazing multi-talented musician having lived most recently in Northampton, MA, both of us grew up in Somerset, MA. My interests mainly are food and the arts, of which there is a wealth of for a town this small & I love vintage stuff & antiques. I once had an antique shop and still love the hunt and discovery. We tend toward Indie Movies and Documentaries and eat out a lot at restaurants most offering locally sourced and sustainable ingredients when possible, there is an amazing food culture in RI to explore. Which has led me to my new food tour business. We also are big believers in supporting the local small business community, non-profits and their events. This is why we tend to be well versed in the great little knowns and unknowns of the area so you can have a real authentic experience. I guess in the end I consider myself an ambassador of this great little state of RI. We were also VERY excited to be included in House Beautiful's "Most Amazing Airbnb Rentals in Every State"! Quite an honor since they used the worse exterior photo and we are a 2 minute/ 1 block from the water not 15 minutes! So what I am saying is, it's even better than it appeared here, ;) so we will take it! Our pied-à-terre is completely self-sufficient, although we share the same house, we in no way want to cramp your style. We're here to offer suggestions of places to go and visit, and make your stay comfortable. So we ask that you don't feel in any way the need to entertain, enjoy the community and area, it's pretty Cool we think!! Shameless plug here ;)...If you want to take a Rhode Island Red Food Tour" in Newport or Providence, let me know, I'll send you a discount coupon code!! PS ...just want to remind you to please be sure to post a profile description, photo and let us know what brings you to little Rhody ;). We live in the same building so we just like to know a little about the guests before accepting a booking.
