Welcome to the Red Door Riverfront Farmhouse, a spacious 19th-century home along the Bantam River in the Litchfield Hills. With 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a large living room, and a riverfront terrace, it blends historic character with comfort. Guests love the peaceful river, quirky antiques, comfy beds, and quick access to Arethusa Dairy, White Memorial trails, Bantam Lake, and the Litchfield Historic District.

The space
This farmhouse spans two levels:

Main floor: Bright living room with river views, country kitchen, spacious dining room with fireplace, and half bath.

Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (2 queens, 1 double) + full bath.

What guests love: Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, big farm table, plenty of towels/linens, washer/dryer, eclectic décor, peaceful river views.
Family-friendly: Spacious yard for kids & pets, river play (crawdads & splashing), hammock & patio.

Guests enjoy the entire private farmhouse with self check-in via the red door. Parking on site with clear signs. Outdoor spaces include a riverfront terrace, patio seating, and yard.

Note: An adjoining unit (Paper Mill Cottage) is on the property. Privacy is respected, and many groups book both for multi-family retreats.

Historic charm: Slanted floors, original stairs, eclectic furnishings.

Stairs: All bedrooms upstairs; stairs are steep and narrow. Not ideal for mobility-limited guests.

Wi-Fi: Provided but may not be ideal for enterprise use due to the rural nature of property.
