Costa Nube is a sustainable off grid Eco vacation Villa nestled in a mangrove forest reserve. It’s Hidden and Private, away from the center main village hustle and bustle. It’s for nature lovers, adventurers, and everyone wanting a serene Island experience. Best area for fishing, paddle boarding, biking, yoga, star gazing. The rooftop has a 360 degree view of Caye Caulker overlooking the reef, bird reserve and nearby Islands.
The space
Surrounded by mangroves the Villa enjoys an abundance variety of Island birds and wild life. Iguanas, butterflies, fireflies,and an amazing sea life is out at your doorstep. From the rooftop watch one of the best Sunsets and Sunrises overlooking the mangroves canopy’s on the Island.
The living quarters are designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment, allowing stunning views. Equipped with all the amenities you need to make yourself at home. including Wi-Fi, hot showers, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Our beds are super comfortable with memory foam, extra sheets, pillows and beach towels so you can rest away. Large smart TVs including free Netflix and high speed internet. Full kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, granite countertop, beautiful wooden cabinets and necessary kitchen utensils. Also private bathroom/shower, sitting area & table/chairs. All the convenient amenities to feel great.
There’s a lot of open spaces and rooms for privacy, but also if wanted it provides a great community atmosphere to meet new people. Our hammocks are on 2 different floor levels throughout the property for privacy and relaxation. On the lower level there’s a BBQ area with picnic tables. Thru out the property on all 3 levels there’s art murals from local artists.
A short walk is the Caribbean sea there you can walk the scenic trails. Paddle board, snorkel, fish, or sit on a dock and relax. Unwind and explore the beauty of a pristine island in an eco-friendly way. We do include free snorkeling equipment, bikes, fishing rods & the paddle boards with your reservation.
The paddle boards can be launch from the shore line which is about a 8 minute walk from our place. They are inflatable so not that heavy. The main swimming areas are a 20 min bike ride.
Grab one of our free bikes and ride thru the scenic beach trail that takes you to the beautiful and vibrant Caye Caulker Village. Daily taxis are available, or rent a golf cart from a company in the village
The Reef room is located on the second floor.
Our home is off grid with Solar panels system/ batteries/generator.
As a collective we’re mindfulness about water & electricity conservation. Sustainable efforts should be practice to preserve water consumption since we rely on the rain to fill our water harvesting system.
Our home can offer a/c for night-time from 3pm-9am. Each room has ceiling fans & stand fan. Each floor suite has unobstructed gentle cool breezes from all directions with large windows/doors. If is too hot for you and we have extra power (weather allowing) talk to us about turning the Air-conditioning early . Our goal is for you to have a great experience. Belize is located in a subtropical climate. know that it could be hot, humid or rainy. there will be a variety of bugs, insects and natural creatures during rainy and dry season.

We have brought the indoor areas outdoor with a large “lounge area” on the 3rd floor made for gathering. Hammocks to hangout in, comfortable sectional seating. This is at eye level with the mangrove forest. The 4th floor is the roof top area with bean bag chairs and loungers, hammocks, yoga mats. From this level you have a 360 degree view of the Caye Caulker and the sea. Great place to stargaze. On the ground level is there is an area for bbq and picnic tables. Being so close to the sea from either side all our outdoor areas have gentle breezes.
Other things to note
The property is powered by solar energy at times it may be necessary for the generator to run during cloudy or rainy days.
