What Guests Say:
Guests tell us their time here feels healing…a space to breathe, rest, and reconnect with what matters… even if that’s just a good book, a hot drink, and a dog named Teddy.
Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.
We’ve tried to capture the magic in photos… but honestly? The best parts don’t make it on camera. You’ll see what we mean.
Guest access
You’ll have full access to the guesthouse, summer kitchen, fireplace area, and nearby open spaces...perfect for slow strolls, sunset watching, or stargazing under wide mountain skies.
You're welcome to greet the animals near the house, including Teddy (our big, fluffy farm dog), the pigs, and plenty of birds. We kindly ask that guests don’t enter gated pastures or wander beyond marked property lines... those areas are either private or home to our larger animals. (We love you too much to risk a surprise meeting with a cow.)
Parking
There’s a designated parking area right next to the guesthouse. We’ll send details before check-in, but it’s easy to find.
Check-In
Self check-in is available via keypad...simple, flexible, and perfect for guests arriving from near or far. We're just a message away if you need anything during your stay.
Photo Session
A complimentary photo session is included with your stay...usually out in the pasture with the mountains behind you. If you'd like to book a time, just let us know early so we can plan for the best light!
Want help spotting the animals or learning who’s who? We’re happy to give you a quick intro tour...or leave you to settle in. Your space, your pace.
Other things to note
Animal Love (from a Distance):
You’ll see, (and hear!) plenty of farm animals during your stay. Teddy, our big, fluffy Great Pyrenees, roams near the summer kitchen with the pigs and birds, and adores a gentle hello. Other animals (cows, goats, horses, and a very vocal donkey) live down at the barn, about half a mile away. They stay in fenced pastures and are mostly here for the background charm.
Pet Policy:
As much as we love animals, we can’t allow guest pets at the farm, and it’s truly for everyone’s safety. Our cows aren’t dog fans, and Teddy takes his guardian role seriously. He’ll welcome you warmly, but isn’t as chill with visiting pups, or any other pet. Thanks for helping us keep everyone safe and peaceful!
Farm Food & Comforts:
Fresh eggs (when the hens are in the mood)
Oatmeal, bananas, breakfast bars, juice
Coffee, tea, soda, and flavored sparkling water
Freezer snacks for late arrivals or hangry emergencies
Photo Session:
Your stay includes a complimentary photo shoot in the pasture, usually with stunning mountain views. We can’t promise animals will photobomb you… but if the cows are feeling bold, you might get lucky!
Farm Experience:
We don’t offer hands-on farm activities (yet! safety first, and those cows are... large). But you’re welcome to walk the property, snap photos, and enjoy the peace and charm of the space.
Sleeping Setup:
Two full-size beds, one twin air mattress, and a comfy couch. Also have a pack n play for the little ones. Let us know how you'd like the space arranged for your group, we’re happy to prep it just right.
Weather Notes:
This is a real-deal mountain farm! Expect mud in wet seasons and cooler temps year-round. Pack layers and shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. It’s all part of the charm, we promise.
