  • I can't imagine a hostess that better exemplifies all that is wonderful about Vermont than Sharon. She is worldly yet very focused on and embedded in her community; she is gracious and warm but leaves you plenty of psychological space; she is a wonderful cook, an impressive small businesswoman, an artist, a lover of music and of dogs. We felt incredibly welcome and comfortable in Sharon's home and we will definitely find an opportunity to return.

    Response from Sharon:

Thank you Alex. I loved having you all at my home. Come back soon and hope to see you this summer.

  • Sharon is an amazing woman--interesting and fun to talk to and incredibly warm. When her friends dropped by, she included me and my daughter in her socializing, and they were fun as well. She is also an exceptional, exceptional cook--she makes the absolute best omelet and the absolute best apple crisp I have ever tasted. And I'm a fussy one! The house is full of personality and color, and the guest room bed and pillows are excellent, and the setting of her house is consummately quiet--with only nature sounds around. I feel as if I now have a good friend in Bratt, and I am really looking forward to many return visits. Oh, and the two Shelties--they're just adorable. My dog loved them as much as my daughter and I did!

She's awesome and you'll love staying at her home. We will certainly be back.

  • Sharon's home is in a gorgeous setting. The pond in the back is idyllic, and it feels very private when you are sitting and relaxing on the chairs by the pond.

Sitting on the deck for breakfast is great too.
Sharon makes you a breakfast that is tailor made to your taste and diet.
She is a lovely, kind, and amazing talented and creative person and is very enjoyable to be around.
The bedroom and bathroom are fine and met our needs. The bedroom and bathroom are on the same hallway as the owner, so that may be something to consider.

All in all, we had a wonderful time there.
