This well-appointed space is ideal for extended stays, whether you’re in town for work, between homes, or simply looking for a comfortable place to land for a while.

This isn’t a luxury stay — it’s a practical, clean, and cozy space for those who appreciate great value, thoughtful design, and central access. The home is older (in the best way!), so expect a few quirks, like creaky floors and the occasional sound from the upstairs unit — a normal part of city apartment living in a dense urban setting.

• This is a lower unit in a duplex in an urban setting; if you’re seeking total silence, this may not be the right fit. There is a lively elementary and high-school on the same block of the apartment.

Please note that I’m unable to offer early check-in or late check-out, as this listing stays consistently booked thanks to its location and value.

The cotton Roman shades are easy to open and close, operated by built-in magnetic strips. You’re also welcome to open the windows during your stay — screens are provided and can be found in each closet.

The kitchen is equipped with basic essentials such as pots, pans, and utensils—perfect for preparing simple meals. However, it is not set up for elaborate cooking or baking. If you’re planning to cook extensively during your stay, this space may not be the best fit. We aim to provide everything needed for light cooking, but nothing beyond the basics.

While the unit does not include dedicated parking, free street parking is readily available. Most guests are able to find a spot directly in front of the apartment or within a 1–2 minute walk.

Please keep in mind that this is the lower apartment of a city duplex in an urban neighborhood. While it’s a great location, it’s not perfectly silent. If you require complete quiet during your stay, this may not be the best fit. That said, I do provide white noise machines to help minimize any ambient city or building noise.

There is a lively elementary school right across the street from the apartment that can cause minor congestion at drop off and pick up times.

This classic 1880s Elmwood Village West Side Victorian is nestled into the best location in the city. To the East is the sought-after Elmwood Village filled with tree-lined streets and charming Victorian homes, local shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. To the west of the apartment is the ‘up-and-coming’ west side where you will find many local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. This is an extremely walkable area just steps from Bidwell Park which hosts Saturday morning farmer’s markets, and concerts alike. There are many small local shops, restaurants, bars and cafes all within walking distance of this location in about 10-15 min. This location is also very close to many of the Buffalo universities, hospitals, airport, Niagara Falls, Walden Galleria, downtown Buffalo, Canalside, grocery stores, Albright Knox Museum, Delaware Park, the Buffalo Zoo, Canada, and much more!
