Sarah met us upon arrival, friendly, extremely helpful and a warm welcome and even had some bubbles, milk, breakfast bites and nibbles for us. The house itself is even nicer in real life! I cannot express how amazing our stay was and simply didn't want to leave.

Sarah's cottage is a fantastic base from which to explore Dublin and beyond. Really easy access to the tram, which is just a few minutes into the heart of Dublin. Sarah was a pleasure to discuss our travel requirements with and her cottage is definitely 5 star. Thanks for a great weekend.

Amazing stay! The apartment is exactly what it said on the website. This is not our first visit in Dublin, we picked Sarah's place because it's close to everything you need to explore Dublin with your family. This apartment has comfortably accommodated our family of four. I don't like going out to eat a lot. So I cook most of our meals in the house. The kitchen has basically everything you need. Sarah even prepared some welcome food in the fridge for us. Checking in and out wasn't an issue at all. Enjoy!

I've thought long and hard about my stay at Sarah's place. First, it must be stressed, it really is a beautiful home. Everything was lovely and Sarah was indeed extremely welcoming and communicative. However. The location of her beautiful home wasn't exactly what I'd imagined, and I urge anyone who prefers everything to be within walking distance to research carefully before booking. I wish I had and I told Sarah that. I stayed one night and gave up the remaining two nights of my stay and went to a hotel because this location wasn't amenable enough for me, especially given the expense. If you are used to walking everywhere, eschewing public transport, and like to have parks or the shore close by, this isn't the place for you. While the train station is conveniently nearby, it's regular arrival is heard very clearly from the house, disrupting the quiet, which disappointed me. A runner, there was no park nearby. I would have to take a cab to a park 30 minutes away. The shore was over an hour away by car. Traveling into town itself is fine on the train, but taking a cab back home at night will set you back 15 euro. It's in a street that is quiet, but it's around the corner from a four-way junction that you have to cross to reach the shops and restaurants of Dundrum. This probably isn't something that would stop people from booking here and indeed, it was many of the reviews that convinced me to book in the first place. My advice to anyone else looking at this property is to seriously consider how you intend to spend your time. I'd had plans to wake up, walk to a coffee shop for breakfast, go for a scenic run, and end the day dining locally, and this is simply not possible here. I was after a mental escape and the house's proximity to the train station didn't really help that, due to the regular train noise. If you have a car, if you don't mind traversing a busy road to make it to a set of shops and restaurants, or are ok with 15 euro cab rides home from the city after a dinner out, then this is a great place to come home to. I'm sorry it didn't live up to my expectations, but I will pay more attention to EXACTLY where the property is in the future.

Response from Sarah:
It's such a shame,..... if Jamie had stayed more than one quick night, she would have found all of the things she wanted just minutes from the house! I have been an Airbnb host for almost 4 years and take great pride and joy in it, which is why Jamie was given a partial refund. I would kindly ask that people read the other 100+ positive reviews to get a more accurate sense of what the house can offer. Many thanks, Sarah

We had a lovely relaxing mini break at Sarah's incredible design house in Dundrum. The house is beautiful and innovatively designed with a well equipped kitchen with a large table for leisurely breakfasts, spotless throughout, plenty of towels, good wifi and INCREDIBLY comfortable beds - they were like sleeping in a cloud-hug! The house is a couple of minutes from the LUAS with regular trains straight into the centre and the bus from the airport stops outside the LUAS too. Sarah was really friendly, helpful and communicative before we arrived and was there to meet us and show us around on the day. All in all a lovely visit - I would highly recommend!

Sarah's house is amazing. Sarah made us feel so welcome. Everything went so smoothly from booking to checking out. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. It is an incredibly peaceful and relaxing space. We did not want to leave! Sarah left delicious coffee, bread, milk and butter for us. Everything you could possibly need to cook at home is provided and it is such a lovely place to enjoy a night in. Thank you Sarah for a great stay in your fantastic house.

I am delighted to welcome you to Victoria Terrace. I hope you love it as much as I do!

I've signed up to Airbnb for many reasons. Firstly my friends say I'm a born hostess! I love to have people in my home. I have put my heart and soul into renovating it, and want as many people as possible to enjoy it as possible. I've always loved the idea of running my own boutique hotel, so this is like a really mini version of that.

Also, I love to travel. I work freelance, and love the freedom that gives me. The joy of living in 2015 is that with my laptop, at certain stages of projects I can work from just about anywhere in the world with internet, which means my house, is free for you to enjoy.

I also have a separate listing for my spare bedroom for when I am in town.

Looking forward to welcoming you!

Sarah
