Idyllcreek A-Frame Vacation Cabin is located at the end of Boulder Drive, only a short 1/4 mile walk to town. A seasonal stream runs through the property. We invite you to share our family's special retreat.

If your dates are not available, ask us about one of the other 6 cabins we host with 1400+ collective reviews. We will be happy to help you find the right cabin for your needs.

The space
Situated on a 1/2 acre at the end of Boulder Drive, this original 1960’s A-frame cabin is every bit as charming and serene as it looks. With 1250 square feet, Idyllcreek sleeps 2-6 people (1 King bed + futon in the upstairs Loft, 1 queen size bed in the upstairs bedroom and 1 inflatable Queen sized Aero bed that can be used downstairs ).

Inside the cabin, you’ll love the wood-burning fireplace, fun spiral staircase, and wireless internet (because even a rustic getaway should be convenient). Idyllcreek also features 1.5 baths, and has 2 patios so you can enjoy this beautiful wooded backdrop to the fullest.

Idyllcreek gets its name from Idyllwild, California, which is just a short walk from the cabin, and the seasonal creek that runs on the property.

Walk or drive into town and you’ll find that Idyllwild is rich in small-town atmosphere and has something for everyone. Downtown Idyllwild offers excellent dining of all stripes and an assortment of fine shops, boutiques, and galleries—not to mention a thriving arts community full of music festivals, art shows, and movie theatre.

If your ideal getaway involves unplugging and getting out into the fresh mountain air, just head “up the hill.” There are plenty of opportunities for activities like hiking and camping, rock climbing and mountain biking, all within close distance of Idyllcreek cabin.

And vacation is, above all else, time to relax. Idyllcreek isn’t just a charming Idyllwild rental cabin on a picturesque, woodsy lot—it’s also a good 20-30 degrees cooler than the surrounding valleys during summer! Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the patio before you head out seeking fun activities and events. With daylight fading through the trees, enjoy good conversation, tired from a full day of hiking and browsing art fair. Then settle into this quiet, peaceful cabin for a full night of deep sleep.

With such a great combination of nature’s beauty and peace, plus great outdoor activities and charming small-town discoveries and events, it’s no surprise that Idyllcreek is a favorite of so many, some from California and some from across the country. Idyllwild, California, vacation rentals give families, couples, and friends the chance to get away, relax, and spend some great time together. And Idyllcreek is one of the best.

So if you’re ready to head down to the shaded A-frame cabin at the end of Boulder Drive for a day, weekend, or week of peace, Idyllcreek is ready to welcome you.

We've collaborated with our cleaning crew to follow best practices for our industry. To keep our guests and staff safe, bleaching linens, towels, and triple-sheeting bed comforters.

We have also sourced Health Technology Triple Two disinfectant cleaner that has been pre-approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against COVID-19 for disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces, especially commonly handled items such as tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks.

We also have antibacterial hand and dish soap for your use.

Finally, the spa is maintenanced between every set of guests.
