Roosters crow! We now have StarLink WIFI! No running water, you have to walk outside to the outhouse. If you have mobility issues, don't stay here. When you reach down to enter by pulling back the cow hide flaps and step in, we hope you say, "Oh, nice!" The log bed sits higher and you can view the flat screen perfectly from the bed. The frig is two steps away. The couch pulls out into a double bed, with a cowboy feather topper. You must request this bed to be made out, or it will be a couch.
The space
We are a farm. Roosters crow at dawn. This is NOT a real tent (actually is a metal building with 3 inch rigid foam in the walls), but it does have 3 front flaps (2 are cow hides), hanging over your front door. This cannot be locked. We are 25 mins. from Boise for a weekend. YES, you get to use our outhouse 30 ft. away. We are an eclectic glamping option for travelers to save money and Idaho residents who need a mini staycation. We have 13 rentals. You can meet our 5 goats, pet bunnies, feed chickens, quail, a horse, or a donkey. Sit by your campfire. Actually, unwind and read a book or watch a movie.
Guest access
The outhouse is shared by all guests who stay in a camper, tent, or wagon. It has a metal flip sign "Open and Closed". We provide Lysol spray, hand sanitizer, femine hygiene items, and of course, toilet paper. The light is always on with country music on the radio. After using, leave the toilet lid down.
Other things to note
If you rent one of our most affordable rentals (we designed for families on a budget, who are naturally frugal) and then complain about using our outhouse, or stepping in farm poop, or being woke early by roosters, or being greeted by a goat or horse; you are a weasel, and will be banned for life. You should spend a little more money and stay in a tiny house. The Ole RV Park is a community. People are arriving/departing and some living long-term on the 2.3 acre property. You will meet our Alpine goat "Kate Brown" who is milked at 9 AM and 600 pm every day. You can try milking. Just ask. The milk is kept fresh and cold in a brown mini frig. Free-range chickens will follow you, several roosters crow at dawn. Our 5 horses are Orion, Dutchess (had Dusti n Dee) and Red Cloud. Jenny is our donkey. We have a second 2 acre property on Lucky Lane, a Tiny Home Village. (4 TH's, No free range animals there)

The Ole RV Park is a community. We have 11 rentals so people are arriving/departing and some living long-term on the 2.3 acre property. You will meet our Alpine goat "Kate Brown" who is milked at 9 AM and 530 pm everyday, and her best goat friend Feebee. You can try milking, just ask. The milk is kept fresh and cold in a brown mini frig. Free range chickens and roosters will follow you. We have 26 new chickens that we hatched from an egg. They live in a coop at the rear of the property with our Silkie roosters (Ebony and Ivory). Our 4 horses are Orion, MamaLady, Dutchess, and Red Cloud. Our donkey is named Jenny. By request, we give basic horse instruction. We have domestic quail near the Cowboy Bunkhouse and meat bunnies in a special spot. Lastly, we have an incredible Boxer named Rooster Cogburn who is trained on command, and he adores kids and people of all ages. Check out our second 2 acre property nearby on Lucky Lane. We have 2 tiny houses there on airbnb; the Cube and the Hardy House (sleeps 7!). We have some unfinished tiny houses there and 2 RV spaces for $25 a night.

We do this full time. My wife is a singer "JessAnn" formerly of the Lightning River Band. Our life motto is help when you see an opportunity and be Christlike. As of 1/30/26, we are the new owners of the Elk City Hotel, store, and restaurant. Ole RV Harris Creek Rd. has vintage trailers, sheep herder's wagon/tent, 2 TH's, outhouse, showers; chickens, quail, 4 horses, a donkey, bunnies, 3 goats, and a dog. Lucky Lane has no farm animals (no roosters). It has TH's and 2 short-term RV spaces.
