The space
This suite is a completely separate space in the house- the whole 2nd floor of the original house. It is completely private to you while you're here. The only kitchen, living room and other amenities are shared space on the first floor as well as the decks and yard.
The house, at the end of the lane, with the privacy of surrounding conservation land, is on it's own private little, freshwater pond which guest can enjoy. The house is only 350 yards from the rocky "back shore" of the ocean. A mile walk (or a ride) to 3 sandy beaches in 3 directions and an easy ride to other beaches.

Guest access
Guests share access to the kitchen, living room and media room, the multi level decks and private back yard with its outside shower. Any events (30 or fewer) would have to be planned with the hosts and held outside in the yard and/or on the decks.

Other things to note
We may have other family members visiting while you're here, but you will have the ability to stay completely apart in your own space or join in as you feel comfortable. Even with our family guests we will make every effort accommodate your use of shared spaces.
There are beach things too that you can borrow: beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. If you need help with something else please ask.

Neighborhood highlights

We love our proximity to the rugged ocean shoreline, rocky beach and its remoteness from the crowds. Although we are just off the shore, it's a quiet neighborhood away from traffic and congestion. The house seems to connect with the trees that wrap around a pond for privacy. It's a private pond that is fed from the freshwater marsh, conservation area adjacent. We often have ducks and herons as well as many other avian and amphibian visitors. The turtles are plentiful as are the frogs and fish. If you're fortunate, you'll see the otter who visits briefly but regularly.
"The custommer has to understand the perfect location...
It is walking distance of seashore(not beach, but great view, rocks, fishing). Perfect path for biking, jogging, walking. Minutes from goodharbor beach and long beach....
Honestly, perfect house, very calm and private, close to everything. For expedition, close to train for Boston" - Recent guest from Montreal
