Welcome to Cabin in the Sky!

At 1,671 ft elevation, Cabin in the Sky is a newly renovated log cabin nestled in the mountainside with tranquil views. The home offers the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. In the mornings/evenings, enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine from the private deck which overlooks pure nature (not a car, street or building in sight). During the day, take advantage of the local hiking, skiing, farmer's markets, restaurants and shopping.

The space
A cozy, yet modern nature retreat with spectacular mountain views. This log cabin is an open concept with a wall of windows, cathedral ceilings, wood burning stove (wood included), modern kitchen and a private deck.

Cabin in the Sky can accommodate up to 6 guests in 2 queen size bedrooms, an upper loft with a king size bed and a full bathroom.

High speed internet, 40 inch TV with streaming services, washer/dryer, linens & towels are also available for your convenience.

Outside, roast marshmallows and drink cider by the fire pit or the deck which includes a gas grill.

Other things to note
Have kids? Us too! The cabin furniture was thoughtfully chosen to survive our toddler/newborn and it can definitely survive yours. There is also a travel crib, travel seat, and some toys.

No kiddos? Not to worry. All the kiddie stuff is tucked away for you to enjoy your mountain retreat.

One last note, the cabin's spectacular elevated view does mean a steep driveway. The driveway is plowed regularly. We are not responsible for any car issues on our driveway or other mountain roads. Come at your own risk and BE SAFE ❤

Original Detroit-er, having fun as a New Yorker. My husband and I bought an unfinished cabin in the Catskills while balancing a newborn and a toddler. Yes it was crazy, but the end result is a stunning (yet kid friendly) cabin we love. We hope you will love it as much as we do. We also hope to help bring more diversity to the Catskills and are here for questions. We did not know the area either and we are happy to provide recs to first timers. The mountains are for everyone!
