Guest access
This is our own home which we rent for a few weeks in the summer. Guests will have the entire house, patio, outdoor kitchen and trellised eating space.

We have moved most of our personal belongings, but our artwork, books, and some items in closets will remain. All countertops will be clear, and there will be empty cabinets, closets and drawers for guests.

My partner and I (and our cat) will be living in the next door studio. We are both artists with day jobs, so we will be in our studio only in the mornings and evenings and will not interfere with your privacy.

Please see the reviews from previous guests.

Message me with any questions about the house or the area, I'm here to help.

** Fostering an inclusive and welcoming space for all (except your pets. Sorry!) **

Other things to note
Please read the reviews for this property, our previous guests have described our awesome home beautifully.

If you've biked on Lopez, you've probably seen our house. All summer we hear bikers calling "COOL PLACE!!" to each other as they ride by : )

Neighborhood highlights

On the north end of Lopez, between the ferry landing and the Village. Quiet and private neighborhood.

Walk or bike to nearby Upright Channel State Park, a lovely beach that is quiet and remote.

Join other local walkers/runners on the 'loop' from our house to the village and back.

A great location for a biking holiday.

I am both a Host and an avid Airbnb traveler. Twenty-four years ago I took a sabbatical from my design job in Portland Oregon and moved to a small island in the San Juans. My partner and I built our own home and art studios. We work as a gardener and carpenter, paint and make fiber art. We love taking retreats on neighboring Orcas Island, where we hike, swim and enjoy the mountains and lakes.
