The Container House is an exciting and spacious house on a working apple and grape farm just 10 kilometres outside Villiersdorp in the beautiful Bossieveld. You can enjoy walks on the farm and meet ostriches and other farm animals. There is a dam (but swimming is seasonal due to irrigation) From October to May you can swim in a small communal pool. We supply tea, instant coffee and rusk. Also 1 crate of wood (no charcoal) and fire lighters. We love pets and the house has a fenced garden.

The space
The house is built from perused containers and offers lots of space and an indoor fire place. Private and fenced garden. We are pet friendly. Small fishing for Tilapia in our farm dam.

Enjoy walks on the farm with orchards, vineyards and farmland. - and meet our animals. Small fishing spot for Tilapia in our farm dam.

Other things to note
There is a range of activities in the area: mountain biking, hiking, fishing, wine tasting and much more. Information on request or in Max’s guide book. Own transport is advisable. 35 minutes drive to Franschhoek.

Stettyn Cellar is just 5 kms down the road. They offer cheese platters, oysters and much more. For the beer lover Mountain Brewing Co. is just the place - only a 20 minutes drive.
In the village is the VIlliersdorp Winery. Next to the tasting room is the restaurant Kelkiewyn - open for breakfast and lunch and in season also on some evenings for dinner.
