The space
The Cottage offers a peaceful countryside stay shaped by simple farm rhythms — open skies, nearby horses, and small touches like locally harvested honey that reflect life at Topsider Farm. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation, the Cottage offers a calm escape where guests can slow down, recharge, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of rural living while remaining conveniently close to nearby attractions.

Inside, you’ll find an inviting living space with a kitchenette (mini-fridge and microwave), a cozy lounge area with Roku TV, and a sofa that converts into a full-size bed for an additional guest. The bedroom features a plush queen bed and a full bathroom, while a room-darkening curtain allows separation between the sleeping and living areas for added privacy and comfort.

Large windows fill the suite with natural light and overlook the surrounding property, where horses and open pasture views contribute to the peaceful farm atmosphere.

Guests traveling with dogs can enjoy a private ¼-acre fully fenced dog run, providing a secure outdoor space for off-leash play and relaxation — making the Cottage especially welcoming for both people and their pets.

We also maintain small honeybee hives on a separate area of the property, and guests may seasonally enjoy locally harvested honey during their stay — a simple touch that reflects the quiet rhythm of farm life here.

The Cottage blends comfort, privacy, and authentic countryside charm to create a stay that feels restful, simple, and uniquely Texas. Designed as a quiet countryside retreat, the Cottage offers a peaceful balance of comfort, privacy, and connection to the surrounding landscape.

Guest access
The property is secured by a gated entrance 24/7. All confirmed guests will receive a personalized gate code prior to arrival for easy self check-in.

You’ll have exclusive access to the entire Cottage during your stay. Parking is available on-site in a shared parking area occasionally used by property staff or visitors.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the surrounding outdoor spaces and peaceful farm setting, including access to the private ¼-acre fully fenced dog run. Dogs are welcome throughout the property, but must remain leashed when outside the Cottage or designated dog run area. The fenced dog run provides a secure space for safe off-leash play.

Horses may be viewed from designated areas around the property; however, for safety, guests are asked not to feed the horses or enter fenced pastures.

Other things to note
Please note that the Cottage is not child-proofed, and the property includes typical rural features such as horses, fencing, uneven ground, and local wildlife. For this reason, the space may not be suitable for young children.

Because this is a shared countryside property, you may occasionally see us outdoors caring for horses, maintaining the property, or walking our dogs during daytime hours. Activity is generally quiet and part of the relaxed farm setting.

Cell service in the area can vary depending on carrier (AT&T typically works best), but strong, reliable Wi-Fi is provided inside the Cottage to help you stay connected.
