Interaction with Guests
You have the entire house to yourself with a lockbox to let you in. You will have complete privacy.
Lambertville is a cute little town with loads of restaurants, galleries, shops and a few lovely bars. Our favorite spots for restaurants are El Tule, Tortugas, Ota-ya, Ricks...too many to list. In New Hope there is the great youth run pre fixe restaurant, Cafe Blue Moose.
For bars hit the Boathouse or the Swan for cozy fireside cocktails. The Swan also serves food in the bar with a great offering of salads, burgers and pizzas. Love the mashed potato pizza and the beet salad.
Our favorite thing to do is hit The Golden Nugget flea market 1.5 miles down the road. It's open year round every Wed, Sat and Sun from dawn to about 2 or so. People start packing up after the big waves of people are done so get there early! If you venture down the road a bit further towards Washington Crossing, It's Nuts! is a roadside restaurant serving up some sick fried chicken and tomato pie.
There are also many lovely shops in town especially America Antiques right down the street.
The best way to get around Lambertville is on foot. You can walk the whole town and cross the bridge to New Hope very easily. If you don't plan on driving to neighboring towns you can leave your car behind and take the Trans Bridge Line. It leaves directly from Port Authority. There is also a taxi service that is a bit spotty but does come through most of the time when you need it.

My wife and I had a great time at Jenny and Mark's place. The space is giant and open with lots of cool and interesting art on the walls.
The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for entertaining. I was able to cook some awesome meals for our friends who live in Lambertville.
The location is perfect for getting around town. It's centrally located and you can literally walk to everything, including a short walk to New Hope. I also really enjoyed the built in audio system that runs throughout the entire house. You can listen to music or podcasts in whatever part of the house you're in, including the bathroom.
The bathroom is great. Beautiful stained glass above the tub. Super steamy hot shower with multiple sprayers and heads. Bathroom was one of my favorite rooms in the house.
Really enjoyed the place. For the money and what you get I think Jenny and Mark's beats a hotel any day.
The hosts were very gracious. We got answers to our all our questions quickly and they made it very easy to choose their home. Lots to walk to, great location, and in the summer, the deck must be lovely! Overall, a wonderful stay.
We were in New Hope PA for a family Thanksgivings and stayed in Lambertville at Jenny and Mark's house The house is very well located and beautiful. Inside is spacious with high ceilings and all the amenities. If you enjoy antiquing and curiosities, you will love how they have decorated the house with amazing stuff! Everything was great and easy to check in and out. We had no problem finding parking as well
Super cool and interesting home right in the heart of Lambertville, NJ- The house had interesting and discussion provoking art work everywhere! We absolutely loved our stay- Top 3 favorite things about the house- 1. The every room surround sound stereo system- we didn't even turn on the huge screen TV the whole stay- just plugged in our Iphones and had great music to enhance our conversation in every room of the house! 2. the AMAZING shower- hardest part was getting out because the jets felt sooo good! 3. the roof top terrace!! We lucked out and had a beautiful October weekend and got to enjoy it! The hosts were descriptive in all information and we had all that we needed for our stay! Also they were quickly responsive to emails and texts! Would def stay here again! Also insider tip- if you like Mexican food- don't miss the Tacos Cancun next door!!! AMAZING!
Jenny & Mark's home was awesome. Very spacious and very unique. We really enjoyed our stay at the house. They were very accommodating and helpful.
Roomy and comfortable enough to sleep four people. Awesome decor. Great roof deck. Would stay again. They tell you but be aware that it is street parking. We enjoyed the LP's and sound system. We had a wonderful time. Glad we stayed here better than two hotel rooms.
Our stay at the Firehouse was an amazing experience! The location is great (it's conveniently located near all the cafés, art galleries, and antiques stores on Bridge St) and the place itself is like a time capsule with so many antiques and artwork. We especially enjoyed the beautiful kitchen area and patio/grill during our stay. Jenny and Mark were terrific hosts! They were quick to respond and when we had no hot water they arrived within hours to fix the prob. I would def stay there again when I have the chance!
