The Hideaway Villa fits its title perfectly. The smallest of the three villas, this beautiful one bedroom is situated upstairs with a private gate before the well lit stairway leading to the entrance. Full of charm and personality, this villa has been a favorite for many couples. Clean, modern and extremely comfortable. As soon as you swing open the door you feel the welcoming atmosphere of the rustic colors and Costa Rican woods. The spacious living area is surrounded with natural tropical fine woods. The tinted windows enhance the outside garden colors and create a refreshing yet warm ambiance inside the villa. Interaction with Guests
We have an onsite coordinator who is happy to help you navigate the area and the language barrier. We are happy to help you with activities or choosing the best places to watch the sunset over the Pacific.
We are located in the village center on a residential street. Our neighbors are the church and the water company, so even though you are in the center of town, we do not have any "noisy" neighbors.
We are located one block from the public shuttle that can take you to the national park/beaches and also to the town of Quepos. We do have gated parking, but most of our guests do not rent cars.
Other Things to Note
Villas Oasis was built by the us with our own hands, you will see personal touches throughout the property. We believe this is why we consistently land at the top of travel review websites. Pura Vida!
We do not allow pets. We have two designated smoking areas, the rancho and the view tower. We market ourselves to singles, couples and families.
Listing was beyond accurate. We stayed at the hideaway room, perfect room, very cute, clean, full kitchen, hot water in the bathroom, AC worked perfectly. the pool was very very nice as well, Nadja was amazing and helped us have a romantic dinner our last night, she also helped coordinate our excursion; she gave some amazing advice for restaurants and things to do.
this was the most relaxing part of our vaca and we loved our stay here. will absolutely be back ! Pura Vida!
Villa Oasis was a great landing place for our Costa Rica vacation! The pool and amenities were beautiful and well kept ... everything was perfect. Nadja was so helpful and the rooms clean with everything we needed. Nearby restaurants were a great and the beach a short bus or cab away. Will be coming back. Thanks so much. We even stayed two extra nights.
What an AMAZING place! Nicest place we stayed in Costa Rica! Pool was fantastic, outdoor BBQ area and hammocks were amazing... everything was perfect. Nadja was so helpful in setting up trips, it was truly effortless for us. SO SO SO wonderful! Will be coming back if possible. :) Couldn't be happier with this place! A true Gem!
Pleasant stay in Manuel Antonio, clean and roomy apartment for 2 people equipped with everything you need.
Nadja is a perfect host, we will come back.
Even though I was traveling alone, this place was still perfect! The location is central to everything, i.e. grocery store, bus and taxi stop, easy walking to many restaurants. Nadja is awesome - she provides great information prior to your stay and watches for you when you're scheduled to arrive. During your stay you could not ask for a better host - always available but not in your way. The property is to die for - just book here already and you'll be writing the great review when you're back.
I stayed at the Villa Oasis' Hideaway room with my boyfriend for 3
nights and had a great experience. To begin with, Nadja was very
helpful in preparing for our stay by contacting us beforehand. She
made sure we knew how to get to Manuel Antonio from San Jose, she
bought some fruit and alcohol so it would be ready when we arrived,
and she got us hooked up with some great tours. During the time that
we were there she explained all of the tricks to getting around the
area, including which beaches to explore, avoiding overpaying for
tours at the park, taking the bus, and going to restaurants. The Villa
is located in a great spot, pretty much 1/2 way between the Manuel
Antonio Park and Quepos, right on the bus line so it is easy to get
around. For $95/night you can't get a better deal.
The only downside of the room is that it is close to the road and with the windows open it can be a little noisy in the morning (although that is true of a lot of places since the sun is up early in Costa Rica). The pool at the property is beautiful, the outdoor bbq is great for outside eating and the lookout tower is a place we enjoyed a couple of mornings of coffee. I would definitely go back there if I return to Costa Rica.
Check out Emilio's across the street on the second floor of the
Backpacker Hostel (avoid the restaurant below, they ripped us off!) Great food and cheap. If you have to do a lot of food shopping, go to where the locals shop in Quepos. It's much cheaper there than in Manuel Antonio, where you pay prices similar to the US.
The Manuel Antonio park beaches are the best and worth the $10 admission. There you don't have to deal with the locals trying to sell you stuff every 5 minutes. Plus then you can see more monkeys and lizards.
The Oasis Villas is a beautiful property. Well equipped with a lookout, outdoor kitchen and grilling facilities and a pool. My accommodations were spacious, clean with a private kitchen with full sized refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, blender, filtered water dispenser not to mention all the necessary tools to cook with and eat off of.
Nadja was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. She was well versed in the local schedules, fees, quality of the restaurants and knew the best way to return to the airport in San Jose. Not to mention she seemed genuinely interested in making sure that I arrived safely and enjoyed my vacation.

Niclas, born in Sweden, felt at an early age the urge to explore the world. Traveling extensively in Europe prior to turning 20, he then took his backpack and left for Barbados and the Caribbean Islands, and continued on to Bali and Indonesia for months at a time. A few years later he got a job in the music industry, working for the legendary rock band Metallica, which made him move to the band's home base of San Francisco. Working closely with the band during their concert tours, introduced him to every part of the world; the perfect combination for his passion for Travel & Music. After 10 years of traveling all over the world, he decided to retire from touring and focus on family life. After a visit to Costa Rica, he felt Costa Rica was the perfect place to move to. "It almost felt like Sweden in that it was very safe, with wonderful people, a great place for children to grow up in. But unlike Sweden, there is no cold dark winter to endure." It became obvious that he had finally found his "endless summer", where he could surf everyday and enjoy the relaxed pace of life that the Costa Ricans are so famous for.
