A newly renovated apt made for easy living!

Check out the September special rates!
The apt is also available by the month from September - November. 2015.
The apartment is on the ground floor with it's own private entrance and a spacious outdoor area.
When I renovated "Chateaux Tommy " last year I wanted to create an easy way to live in a studio apartment.
There is a separate storage space and wardrobe leaving the main room light and airy.
Outside, it's a treat to be in your own private out door living room.
The apartment is made so that you can enjoy the kitchen and sleeping area indoors and eat and live out doors. (If it rains, it is easy to move the table inside!)
Please note that some previous reviews are from my old apartment.
This is my new apartment, and you will have the whole property by yourself!
Light and spacious, you can enjoy a nice sized bathroom and have all the amenities you need for your stay.
The apt is 25m2 which is standard size for the south of France, it is very comfortable for two people, if you are three, then it gets a little crowded if it rains.
In Antibes you have the outdoor market with local organic produce and shopping.
The night life kicks off at dinner time and then there are plenty of bars around.
In Juan les pins you can dine on the beach with your feet in the sand!
Train is within walking distance to Juan Les Pins or Antibes, taking you to Nice, Monaco, Cannes and Italy.
You will be able to enjoy my home like it's your home. A nice separate area for dressing and wardrobe offers a clutter free home!
Please note that all house info is in English.
Dogs are welcome at 5 euros extra / day.
Interaction with Guests
You will be welcomed by either me or a friend of mine if I am away and you will have a phone number to contact us for any reason.
Since I arrived to Cap d'Antibes I call it "the Truman Show", because it's so friendly compared to other parts of the Cote d'Azur. It's a real treat to be here after a busy day in town. I also love walking around the Cap, on the dramatic coastal path, looking at the beautiful belle epoque villas or dream myself away on the beach as the yachts drive past out at sea.
A great bakery and local grocery shop and newsagent are a few minutes away and so is the beach.
There is free parking in the neighborhood.
Bus stop outside the house, walking distance Antibes, Juan les Pins and to the local trains.
Walking to the beach takes 2 minutes.
Other Things to Note
We try to make sure that when you arrive you can settle in with a nice glass of wine, coffee and snacks. There is toilet paper, coffee, tea and enough olive oil, vinegar, toilet paper etc while you get settled into your temporary home.
Linen, towels, blankets all here as well.
One change / week.
Spending time the garden in the evening is one of the most wonderful things about the "Chateaux Tommy experience", but please no loud music after 22 pm or shouting/wild partying.
I have had a lot of wonderful guests in my previous apartment and hope it will continue with this new pad. Please do feel at home, but do take care and try not to brake anything.
The only bad experience I have had was a guest who thought that my antique wooden cabinet was a perfect place to put a hot pot on. This was not a good idea.
Smokers are welcome to smoke in the garden.
Otherwise, enjoy and have fun, that's what life is made for!
We had a wonderful time in Antibes, the location of Monique's apartment was fantastic with 5mins walk to the beautiful beach at Juan Les Pins. Within easy walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and bars
It was a joy to have you here Karen. The size of the apartment is 25 m2, which is average size for a studio apartment in the South of France. I accept 3 people staying, but it can always be a bit crowded in a studio apartment when more than 2.
The garden is a unique feature for this area. Thank you again for feed back and for staying here.
We haven't met Monique in person, but the communication was very kind and helpful. Everything was well prepared for our arrival.
The apartment is small, but there is everything you will need. It was tidy and clean.
Just to let you know, so that you won't be surprised: the garden is located to the front with a busy road, so there's a lot of noise.
However, the surroundings are very nice and the beach as well as downtown Antibes are close-by. We had a pleasant stay at Chauteaux Tommy.
Hello Martin! Thank you for staying with us! I previously had a very expensive and posh futon, but the guests didn't like the idea of a futon, even if it was top brand. So this season I am trying out sofa bed, I do use it and it's OK. For next season I will try to find something that makes both guests and me happy! Re the noise, French people have no sensitivity to noise regardless where you stay. In the summer there will be a little bit more traffic, as it's high season, but if you would have stayed in a pedestrian street you would have had a lot of noise too due to shouting and scooters driving at max speed!
We have had a very good time with Monique flat. This is the perfect base to visit Nice, Monaco, Cannes and other French riviera cities.
As we're "car people" this issue is important to us. There is a lot of free and safe car parking places in the neighbourhood.
Monique is good english speaking, very helpful and children friendly.
The apartment has a perfect garden especially for childrens.
The sandy beach is only 500 m from the apartment.
Thank you Monique !
Great location, parking available out the front or in side streets, fast & reliable wifi, nice place, and very friendly and helpful host :)
One of the coolest places you can find in Antibes. Very close to the beach and in a safe and calm neighborhood. Everything was as described by the host. Monique wasn't there when we arrived but her friend let us in and we found the magic black book which was basically better than any tour guide. She also provided a descriptive message ahead of time which allowed us to find our way to Chateaux Tommy from the Nice airport as well as how to get to the trains to the Cannes.
Thinking back, what I best recall is a clean and hot shower, an awesome Zen yard to meditate in the evening and tons of little stuff on the walls and shelves to bring smile to your face.
Thanks Monique for being full of life and extending that to your space. :-)
Monique was super kind and great company, she took me for a day trip to the cutest little villages! Villefranche is the perfect place to stay while visiting the Riviera - cute cafes, perfect beaches, plenty of locals and less tourists than Nice (which is a short 10 min bus ride away). Thanks Monique for everything!
