My beautiful apartment has been serving Jazz Fest and other New Orleans visitors for over 15 years. Please read my over 100 positive reviews to get a true picture of my place from my guests' perspective. I look forward to being your host! Last year I spent considerable time and expense making the place even better, and I still need to get new pictures of my super pretty purple hideaway!

The space
This beautiful apartment has been serving Jazz Fest and other New Orleans visitors for over fifteen years. I'm happy to say that many of my guests have made return visits over the years, some to get married, some to enjoy their honeymoon, or just because they've fallen in love with our wonderful city and the gorgeous City Park neighborhood.

The guest suite has its own private entrance, with a private garden with a deck, a table and umbrella. You enter through an eat-in kitchen that has a tiled counter, stove, coffee maker, small refrigerator, and pretty much anything else you would need. Then you have a bedroom with hardwood floors, full-sized bed, television with cable, ceiling fan, armoire, a very quiet and efficient hotel style air-conditioner/heater, etc., and a beautifully tiled bathroom. Excellent WiFi. Your host provides all linens and towels, as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, hair dryer etc. All of my linens and products are very high quality - I don't like the cheap stuff, and I certainly wouldn't treat my guests that way.

The apartment is one short block from the Streetcar and buses. Close access to supermarkets and numerous restaurants. $11 Uber/Lyft to the French Quarter with plenty of availability (I use them all the time). One block from our gorgeous City Park and a short walk to the New Orleans Museum of Art, the Sculpture Garden and Bayou St. John. Also an easy walk to Jazz Fest, the Voodoo Fest, and two blocks to the Endymion fun. This is a very safe and beautiful neighborhood, full of lovely homes and nice people.

I'm a frequent traveler myself and have been to almost every state in the US, as well as to about 30 countries. I know what it takes to be comfortable and welcomed in a new place, and have made every attempt to make the apartment cozy and relaxing. My deep involvement in the New Orleans music community allows me to share with you some good info on what to check out musically in town, especially those hidden-gem type performances. I also am somewhat of a foodie, having been a restaurant owner and chef in another life, and will be happy to point you towards some nice places to eat and shop.

I am very proud of the over 100 positive reviews that I've received and encourage you to browse through them to get firsthand insights from my guests about the apartment, the neighborhood, the ease of transportation and folks' general happiness with staying in a vibrant yet peaceful New Orleans neighborhood.

Folks staying for longer stays (over 5 days) should feel free to inquire about the possibility of discounts!

These wonderful accomodations are most suitable for a single person or a couple. Sorry, No smoking indoors or pets. The apartment is compliant with New Orleans laws regulating short term rentals, and is registered with the City of New Orleans.
