You arrive at the front door of the residence which opens onto a spacious foyer. Steps away is the staircase leading to the guest quarters. A door located at the bottom of the stairs offers complete privacy and the suite is tranquil & quiet-so you can relax and rest from a long journey. You'll have you own key to come and go as you wish. If you wish to enjoy the backyard gardens, please do. Just come toward the back of the house and the door to the right leads outside. We suggest early mornings as the best time to enjoy. You'll hear the sounds of running water (from our three water features) and birds chirping. It's amazingly quiet even though we are in the center of the city!
Interaction with Guests
We like to give guests as much privacy as possible, but we also want you to feel welcome and be able answer questions you might have, so we more or less let the guests set the tone.
Our location is central to so much activity, yet remains quiet and tranquil. Neighbors look out for each other and we have become one of the best places in the whole city to live. We are active in our Edgehill Village Neighborhood Association in shaping the future of our city and keeping our neighborhood safe and a friendly place to enjoy.
Bus stop is about a block away, taxi to downtown is about $10 & if you download the UBER app you can use it to get around. We hear great feedback about Uber. Walking is an option, and guests who are walkers tell us the hike downtown is a breeze.
Milage for places many guests want to go:
Music City Convention center - 1.68 miles, Downtown (Lower Broad / Riverfront) - 2.5 miles & The Gulch - 1 mile. Nashville is undergoing more than usual construction right so there may be street closures here and there. Please take this into consideration as you drive around town. Our city is working hard to become as user friendly as possible, but there are a few roads that will make you crazy...Old Hickory Blvd is the best example. You'll find this street all over the (URL HIDDEN) starts then changes names and starts again. Why? Ask Andrew Jackson, (named in his honor......) we don't know for sure but it's one of the oldest roads in Nashville, even though it is no longer one continuous thoroughfare.
