A common area with wifi that’s well-suited for working.
This newly renovated cabin is located on over an acre of land surrounded by woods and overlooking a stream.
The space is open and bright with tons of natural light and the screened in porch has cozy furniture where you can sit and listen to the stream. Outside there is a beautiful hangout area where you can use our solo stove to have campfires and relax under the solar twinkle lights. We also have a mini deck perfect for Yoga, Meditation, sunbathing. You will also find a hammock in the backyard

The space
On the first floor you will find a cozy living room, a full bathroom, a dining room that sits 6, a kitchen with a gas stove, dish washer and full refrigerator, a mudroom with a washer and dryer as well as a bedroom with a queen size bed.

The upstairs is an open loft space with sloped ceilings. One side of the room is a second bedroom with another queen size bed as well as a second living room area with a couch that can convert into another bed. (the couch bed comfortably fits one adult or two small children).

There is not a traditional tv, but the house does have a projector in the downstairs living room with a firestick so you can login to all your accounts (netflix, amazon, HBO, etc) and make every night movie night! The house has wi-fi so you can work remotely.

Guest access
You will be able to check in and out by yourself with our keyless entry. You will be issued your own private access code for the duration of your stay.

* Check in is after 3 PM and check out before 11 AM*

*No parties or events*

*We recommend that no children under the age of 8 yrs old are left unattended to use the stairs.

*Pets 50lbs or less are allowed and welcome. We will charge a $50 pet fee for the extra pet cleaning service.

*No smoking is allowed inside the house

*Please only use the fire pit while at the house and please make sure that all flames are out and that cover is back on before leaving premises. Please make sure to put fire pit back in mudroom before checkout.

*Power outages are common in the region especially during inclement or harsh weather conditions. We have flashlights provided for such possible occasions.

Neighborhood highlights

Ellenville is a cute and restful village in Ulster County where you'll be able to experience relaxing spas, invigorating hikes and horseback riding. You can find such an array of wonderful activities to explore and enjoy during your stay.
You'll be able to shop for groceries at Shoprite, and Walmart. Forage and Gather is a lovely store that has amazing specialty foods and the best wine around as well as lunch and food to go.

There are many nearby restaurants to try in the area. Some of my favorites are Aroma Thyme Bistro, Gaby's Cafe, Tony and Nick's (my fav in town), Cohen's bakery (great breakfast and lunch as well as bread and desserts). In Mountaindale I recommend The Dale (such great pizza and live music on weekends), High Voltage Catskills and Creek Bar (best place to go hang outdoors), Forage and Gather.
There are SOOO many ice cream stands to choose from in Ellenville, but Barthels Farm and Creamery is great and the Blue Devil is very hometown.

For hiking, I recommend the Great hiking trail head that starts at Berme Park in Ellenville (the trail goes all the way to Kingston!). The park also has tennis courts, baseball field, kids park etc...
Other great hiking trails include Verkeerderkill Falls Trailhead, Ice Caves in Cragsmoor, Minnewaska state park and more!

Another nearby activity is Mountaindale Yoga which is a really great yoga spot.

There is also amazing antiquing in Stone Ridge for those who want to find that unique, one-of-a-kind item.
There is also a very cool vintage store in town called TopShelf that has a crazy array of fun things and locally made clothes and jewelry.

Kelder's Farm is great for families and strawberry picking season just started!!!

There is trout fishing in all kinds of lakes and rivers including the one across the street from the house! You just need a fishing license! On Old Greenfield road if you go farther down, there is a park, more fishing areas and I have heard that locals swim in the swimming hole down there in the heat of the summer.
There is a also a super cool theatre called Shadowland that puts on really interesting shows @shadowlandstages
