Perfect for a relaxing short stay in the 'depths' of the East Lyn river valley!

The accommodation is quirky and comfortable. Although it is attached to our home, you will hardly notice. The outside space is shared, but ample, including a firepit by the river.
We are in a walker's paradise! The NT's tearoom at Watersmeet is but a stroll away, while Lynmouth and the sea is a mile along the river bank. Woodland, rivers, moor and sea...

Note this is not the Lodge at Myrtleberry!

The space
Downstairs there's a living room with an open fire and a quirky kitchen/diner with a woodburner so you never need be cold. There is no dishwasher, microwave or freezer - although you're welcome to share our freezer... Upstairs there's a lovely shower room and two comfortable bedrooms.

This is all part of our home, so there are lots of personal items around - not least a lot of books! There are locked doors separating the space from us.

Where you’ll be

Devon, England, United Kingdom

Myrtleberry sits in its own large open garden with an extensive river bank; this in turn is surrounded by the beautiful National Trust Watersmeet Valley - one of the deepest river gorges in England. You won't have to get into your car to access miles and miles of walks through woodlands, along rivers and sea cliffs, or up onto Exmoor's open moorland.
The twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are a mile down river, and there are pubs within a good walk at the four points of the compass.
