Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
The Loft is our most grand accommodation at Keating Farm. It has gorgeous vaulted ceilings, exposed ducting and a private roof deck with a valley view. It is furnished with a lux king size bed, sitting area, cozy wood burning fireplace, kitchenette, coffee/tea service, desk, dining table and full washroom with a clawfoot tub. The Loft is airy with natural lighting and stocked with local products. The Loft is a perfect get away with a loved one or on a solo adventure to experience rural Cowichan.

The space
The Loft is a newly renovated and updated spacious suite. It features a king sized bed with lux bedding and extra throw blankets to make the bed even more comfortable. The suite has a full bathroom with a claw foot tub for an authentic soaking experience!

The kitenette has a mini fridge, convection oven, hot plate, pots and pans, dishes, cups and utensils. We also have a coffee and tea station featuring Drumroasters Coffee (a locals favourite)!

One of our favourite features of the Loft is the private balcony. The balcony has views of the rolling hills behind the farm and provides the most tranquil surroundings to enjoy your morning coffee, evening glass of wine or local brew.

We are located in South Cowichan tucked right in the middle of Cowichan Station and Glenora. We have less than a 5 minute drive to the highway for easy communiting access. We are 10 minutes drive to Downtown Duncan and 59 kms to Downtown Victoria.

Located in Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, our farm spans 27 acres and focuses on sustainable agriculture including maintaining heritage orchards. It’s home to a variety of animals, including honey bees, chickens, turkeys, sheep, and pigs. The farm features historic buildings, newly restored to their original beauty.

Farm tours are available and encouraged! We love the chance to share our property with our guests and talk about the history of the farm. We also have local produce and meats available for purchase (depending on seasonality)

Neighborhood highlights

Located in the heart of the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, Keating Farm provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our farm is one of the oldest and most unique farms in British Columbia. The farm is our home and home to our honey bees, chickens, turkeys, sheep, pigs, heritage orchards and award winning historical buildings. We are a small family farm dedicated to providing exceptional food to our community. In addition to farming, we also host weddings and events, and offer overnight accommodations in our beautifully restored agricultural buildings. Our farm has been a gathering place for nearly 130 years and we are honoured to carry on the tradition. We lovingly restored every aspect of the farm, bringing it back to life, creating the ideal retreat for you to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of farm life. Visit our website for more information about the farm and its history.

Our farm is located in the Glenora area of Cowichan Valley and is adjacent to the quiet residential neighbourhood of Eagle Heights. We offer three suites on site: the Loft, the Granary, and the Creamery. All three suites are available on Airbnb.

Our suites are well suited for guests who enjoy being close to nature and want to immerse themselves in the sites and smells of farm life. The property is central to numerous activities such as hiking, bike trails, kayaking, fishing and swimming in the nearby Cowichan River. Downtown Duncan is less than 10 minutes away and there are several options to get around in town.
