Quaint room in separate house with private Japanese bath, mini kitchen with 4-burner stove, toaster, hotel refrigerator, flatware and pots and pans. We're nestled under Mt. Jumbo on Rattlesnake Creek and Greenough Park. Ten-minute walk to UM, downtown and mountain trails. Kid-friendly yard: zip line, swing.

The space
This quaint room is in a separate building behind our house. On the ground floor is a private dance studio (now that I'm retired, quiet most of the time). There is an hour and a half class most weekday evenings. Everything is out by 9 pm. These are small groups and very respectful of your privacy. Classes and rehearsals tend to stop during the summer. People may use the bathroom during these times, however, otherwise it is all yours. With Covid everyone is very conscientious about swiping down handles and surfaces on all doors and in the bathroom. On the second floor is your room and bathroom, a kitchenette and my husband's writing office (which you are welcome to use as he rarely does). There is one double bed. You do have to climb stairs.

Where you’ll be

Missoula, Montana, United States

We're in the quiet, historic neighborhood of the lower Rattlesnake, nestled between Mt. Jumbo and Waterworks Hill on Rattlesnake Creek. Downtown Missoula is a ten-minute walk away with its warm bistros, bars, brewpubs and distilleries, half a dozen fine restaurants, numerous shops, bookstores, music, dance, movie and theater venues, two athletic clubs and downtown parks flanking the Clark Fork River. Find great farmers markets by the railway station or down by the river on Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings running May through October.
