Handcrafted 3 bed, 2 bath log home where rustic beauty meets modern comfort. Wake to birdsong, wander to sandy shores, and watch sunsets through the evergreens. Minutes to Camano Island’s beaches, parks, and boat launches—yet a world away from hurry. Tillicum 1.5 mi, Mabana 1.3 mi, Seattle ~1.5 hrs. Gather Barn is available separately for events.

The space
This renovated deluxe log cabin was built in the 1970's by hand. It sits on
almost an acre of land with lots of beautiful trees. It has been lovingly restored to provide a wonderful relaxing lodge style experience while leaving some rustic charm.

MAIN FLOOR... has a sunken living room, large open room with gorgeous logs, beams and hardwood floors. Relaxing comfy couches and leather chair with ottoman. Large dining area with "antler bar" area off the kitchen. BBQ on out the back "dutch" door. Outdoor pic-nic table by the campfire pit. Outdoor dining table and chairs in the trees. Large bathroom with laundry area, king bed in master bedroom with closet and chair.

UPSTAIRS... has an open landing that has an extra single bed we call “the nook” and a reading chair with books we call “the library”. The futon chair folds down to a smaller bed.
The “Tulip Room” has a queen bed and a 30 inch TV with a firestick.
The “Tree House Room” also has a queen bed and a TV with a DVR.
Nice brand new bathroom with shower.

THINGS TO NOTE:
We have an electric fireplace for ambiance - goals of having a propane wood stove in the next few months, possibly adding a hot tub in the future too.

We have a TMOBILE hot spot. Works well for phones, tablets and streaming. Part of island life here is that the internet can be spotty at times. There are other location to visit for internet. (Internet is also weak in the IGA grocery shopping center, locals call this area "The Plaza". Internet works well at "Terry's Plaza" where Camano Commons & Bakery are located.

We are on septic - and O N L Y a small amount of toilet paper can go down.
Nothing else please.

In the future we plan to use the large 1200 sf shop for art and music events. Perhaps a painting class, etc.

Guest access
Guests will have use of the entire house. Options to book the Gather Barn and “Holly” the tuna can retro trailer.
Guest must provide a valid copy of their ID within 24 hours of booking. Each person staying needs to be added to the registration with their full name, or we may need to cancel the reservation.

Other things to note
We do not allow parties, however there is a party barn onsight that can be booked separately.
Guests are required to provide a copy of their valid Identification (matching the reservation) within 24 hours of booking, and all occupants names will be added to the reservation.
There is a firepit - guests can use 10-12 pieces of wood if available and after that you can supply your own, kindling, etc. Ask us about this if you need more info.
All burn ban rules must be obeyed, Island County website.
Extra room to park a boat while you stay here ONLY with prior approval, depending on size/length etc.
All vehicles must have current licensing and tabs.
No extra vehicles may be parked here without permission. No parties - please inquire if you have questions.
We have a fine of $500 per night/or any portion of a day for each unauthorized pet as well as additional cleaning fees.

Take a cruise down Camano Drive and you will enjoy a tree lined street that takes you out of the hustle and bustle. Take a left at the yellow tractor and life starts to slow down immediately when you arrive at Camano Log House. A magical forest with beautiful trees and outdoor spaces. Lots of rustic charm, a few quirks - nicely remodeled for comfort and relaxation. Comfy couches for you to relax on while enjoying a lodge feel.
Not far from a several beaches, State Parks, beautiful views, art and now you too get to enjoy island life! Lots of good times are ready for you on Camano Island.
