Guilietta has a lovely room in a great location. It was easy to communicate with her even though we were in different countries. I would happily stay at Giulietta's again!
This was my first time using Air B&B and I stayed for one night. I arrived on a Sunday at Breguet-Sabin metro station, which is right in the wonderful food market, Marché Bastille. The apartment is only five minutes walk away on a quiet street. I did not get to meet Giulietta unfortunately, but her boyfriend showed me the apartment and then I had the whole place to myself for the short time I was there. The room is spacious, very bright, airy and clean, much nicer than some of the old hotel rooms in Paris and the window's outer shutters provided a Parisian 'novelty'. Giulietta also left her wifi password and adaptor plugs in case you forget to bring one, and leaflets and business cards of places to visit in Paris. The bathroom is very compact with toilet, shower and small sink which is fine for most people and I was able to use the fridge, handy if you buy anything from the market. There is also a quiet cafe directly opposite where you can sit outside and have your morning coffee. I would definitely stay here again for a little longer next time.
All went well at Giulietta's and she communicated very well by text messages as to certain questions i had after checking in with her cleaner late morning. I didn't get to meet Giulietta in person though during our 3 day stay, which was a shame, but she accomodated my friend who came to join me last minute without any hassle and that was very much appreciated.
Location wise, you cannot beat being 5 mins walk from both Bastille and Chemin vert tube stations, as well as 15 mins walk to Le Pere Lachaise cemetery which i got to visit at last! :) Very good bakery off rue de La roquette near Bastille as well, 2 supermarkets perfect for food stocking up as i live in London and love French groceries, very confy bed and duvet, the street facing room- even though there are two cafes, wasn't a problem to fall asleep after 12, no thru traffic either. There is a lift and the overall building is quiet and modernised (new lift, a rarety in old buildings). I would recommend this room in Paris in a nutshell!
I really liked the room and the area. Guiletta is very friendly host and let me use the kitchen and bathroom when I wanted it. I could also pick up my luggage from the house after checkout time which was really nice!
Next time in Paris I will definitely stay with Guiletta again.
Giulietta is a sweet host and her place is a charming Parisian flat in a very convenient location for exploring the city. She has all the basic amenities you could want nearby: Velib bikes right outside the door, a cafe across the street, a boulangerie around the corner, and an organic grocery store nearby as well. It was my first time visiting Paris and her apartment was the perfect place to stay!
Séjour trop court mais parfait. Merci
Giulietta's is very nice and her flat is bright and comfortable.
You can go to the Marché Bastille, Place of Place des Vosges and Cathédrale Notre-Dam etc. just by walking.
Vivement recommande.
Moi je l'ai bien aimé. :)
