Instantly transition into vacation-mode. A modernized 3,200+ square foot log home located within the city of Bend. Enjoy the natural wood surroundings and massive vaulted ceilings that allow for space to spread out and relax. Get your chef on in the fully equipped kitchen or opt for the outdoor BBQ and pizza oven. No parties, pets or ESA's please. Trip insurance recommended if illness, weather or smoke may be an issue. *Note major construction behind the home! Townhome Development in Progress.

The space
The focal point of the spacious living room is the welcoming stone fireplace and massive timbers spanning the length of the room There is an office nook upstairs, as well as a kids play room with toys and books.

Each downstairs bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, and the upstairs loft has both a king and a full bed. Each bedroom is directly adjacent to a bathroom. Note, there is no door on the loft but it is visually private from the living space.

There is a flex-space above the garage with a full gym with sauna and office desk. Please note it does not have a bathroom. Also, the garage is not for guest use. Thank you.

The entire home is available for guest use. Please let us know if you would like to use the flex-space above the garage, which we normally keep locked. The garage is not available for guest use.

Other things to note
Note that this home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, with longtime homeowner families nearby, and we take great care to ensure a harmonious existence of this vacation rental with their established homes. In other words, this is NOT a party house and noisy groups will be noticed.

No parties, pets or ESA's (emotional support animals) please.

Please note that the lot behind the property is under construction. The legal working hours in Bend are 7:00 AM to 5 PM, though we have observed 8-8:30 is when things get going and they are almost always done and quiet by 4 PM.

Wildfire smoke is a significant risk in the mid-summer to late fall in the PNW, especially east of the Cascades. Please note that both Airbnb (and by extension, us as hosts) can not predict or control the weather or the smoke, and neither of these are considered grounds for exceptions to the refund policy. If you want a more flexible cancellation policy due to air quality/smoke, we recommend purchasing travel insurance through Airbnb, which is offered to you during the booking process. If your time in Bend is impacted by smoke, we are happy to help you make the best of it—there are often times of day or parts of the surrounding area that are far less smoky than others. We live here and understand the challenge.

We would encourage you to make sure you have a vehicle well-equipped for winter travel. Again, travel insurance is recommended if a major winter snow event might impact your ability to travel to Bend.

Two friendly outdoor-enthusiasts who love their two kids, the outdoors, coffee, chocolate, and time in the kitchen. We met through a shared love of travel and adventure. Now that we have put down roots and have a family, we want to provide the kind of warm hospitality we experienced in so many places around the world. We were both born in the Pacific Northwest and spent our first three years together living in Jakarta, Indonesia. Ryan enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, roasting coffee, surfing and all things nerdy. Katie likes yoga, reading, trail running and creativity in the kitchen.
