My guests are free and alone in apartment:) because I don't live there, but I am always at disposal to them.
Apartment is in very centar of town. Please take a look what Ruben Alonso, famous Spanish traveler, is said about Mula Mustafe Baseskije street, street where our apartment is located.
It is really a good night in this place. It's clean and we love the style. The host, Timur is a nice person. We leave something in the apartment and he is very kind to come again to open it. I have to say it is a good experience and highly recommended.
Timur was really helpful and and he really knows the city. We went there as a group of friends and he told us few things about where to eat or hang out. Also we enjoyed reading the notes on the wall that has been written by the previous guests.
We loved the house, it located in the center of Sarajevo and it was clean and lovely. It looks exactly the same in the photos. I absolutely recommend him and his apartment. The interior was great, we felt like we are at home. There was something about the hot water and we couldn't use it after 11 pm but we didn't mind.
Timur was an excellent host - patient, friendly, caring, respectful. I was two hours behind the schedule and he did not mind waiting for me to give me the keys to the place. Also, he was very flexible in regard to checking out at 6:00 AM.
As to the place itself, it is conveniently located in the center of the city, on a walking distance to all major attractions of Sarajevo. I used to live in the city in the 80s as a native and can attest that Timur's apartment brings the charm of the old Sarajevo architecture, combining the elements of Austro-Hungarian architecture and furniture with some Ottoman elements. The fact that Timur and his wife are both designers is visible from the very moment you enter their apartment. Just one warning, "tall guys be aware of different heights of doorposts." But, that's also a part of the old architectural charm, which I did not mind. :-)
We arrived really late in Sarajevo and Timur had to come meet us at the flat in the middle of the night! He was very friendly and gave us some really good suggestions on things to do in town.
The flat is very spacious. If you like the high ceiling pre-war flats this is the place for you. Timur and his wife has decorated the place very nicely and you won't find a better location in Sarajevo than this!
It was a great apartment with a great host. Timur was very helpful & explained us all about the things we needed to learn about the apartment & gave directions for the city. Due to a misunderstanding we felt a bit surprised and a bit scarred to be waken up at 8 am but it was a good laugh afterwards:)Thank you for everything!
