Stay in a restored log cabin with queen loft, 1.5 baths (shower/no tub), fully furnished kitchen, breakfast room & den. Huge wood burning fireplace to make Winter month rentals especially enjoyable. Firewood provided. Great sunsets from back porch. We share fresh eggs from the chickens, Kangen/alkaline water, & fresh veggies from Summer garden. Pet friendly. Wifi (recently placed a Verizon air card in cabin to eliminate issues we've had with spotty connection), Direct TV. Separate entrance & separate parking from hosts in main house. Hosts have super friendly golden retriever and a 6 year old that play in shared backyard (website hidden)-splits in den, kitchen, and loft for both heating and air conditioning. The cabin is 1/2 mile off Exit 15 of I-26 which goes straight into Asheville. Easy to get to. 10 minutes to Navitat Canopy Tours (coolest zip lines around!), 10 minutes to French Broad River, 15 minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, 12 miles to Wolf Laurel Ski Resort and snow tubing, 8 minutes to great restaurants, art, clubs, people-watching, etc... in awesome Asheville, 5 minutes to quaint downtown Weaverville or Mars Hill, location of Mars Hill College. Cabin located 1 minute off Interstate I-26.
We have nice (close proximity) neighbors to the right of our home, nobody on the left that you'll see, and there is a nice neighborhood across the street that has good hills for walking exercise. Jupiter Rd. is a fairly busy county road. Pay attention when exiting the driveway.
As much or little as they would like. Guests do a self-check-in.

Superb in every way. The cabin is a work of art inside and out. My wife and I (mid-sixties) stayed three nights and barely left at all, but the location is convenient to Asheville, Weaverville, and all sorts of outdoor activities. For us, it was a quiet, restful experience. Highly recommended.
GeGe's cabin was exactly what my family and I wanted for our getaway from the city - a quiet and comfy place that was out in a natural setting, but had all of the amenities. The place has such a nice character that makes you feel right at home. You see it in the choice of furniture, the crafted mugs, the bright plates, the art on the walls, and the way the place is arranged. It feels lived-in, but in the best way. The back porch is a wonderful feature of this place. From here you can get a great view of their cute little chicken coop and chickens and enjoy a hot cup of tea on a rocking chair to take in the sunrise or sunset. Our little girl was just as happy as we were with the place. The soft carpet in the bedroom upstairs was great for her to crawl and play on. She also loved hanging out in the yard and watching the chickens. Also, the remote controlled air conditioner was a major plus after a long day hiking in the hot weather!
The cabin is in a great location in a small community that is just outside from Asheville. We were able to do the Blue Ridge Parkway and explore the mountains and hike to the waterfalls and then switch it up and stroll the streets of downtown Asheville to shop at their unique local shops and eat at the great restaurants, all while having our cabin within a 15-20 minute drive.
GeGe was (email hidden)e was quick to communicate when I left her messages. We also got to meet her in person and we instantly felt her warm southern hospitality and personality. We would love to come back here next year and would recommend our friends and family to GeGe's cabin!
The cottage was adorable, comfortable, and very charming. GeGe (email hidden), she was there when needed and otherwise gave you privacy. Her dog Scout was welcoming and could train you in how to play ball with a simply nod of his nose.
The area is quiet and very accessible to Asheville. Loved it and will defiantly return to stay at the cottage.
Thank you GeGe, we always love our time at the cabin! Scout entertained as the mountains relaxed us.
GeGe's cabin was even nicer than we had anticipated. It is a unique, well kept spot run by some one who truly cares about the about the guest's experience. The fresh eggs were a nice bonus and a terrific way to start the day.
My daughter and I went to Asheville to celebrate my birthday. We spent three nights at GeGe's adorable cabin. It was our favorite trip to Asheville, even though it was further out than we usually stay. We loved Weaverville, and it is just a few minutes to everything we love to do in Asheville. Our hostess was wonderfully accommodating if we needed her, but allowed us complete privacy otherwise. Everything about our cozy cabin was a joyful & whimsical work of art. The photos could not capture the absolute charm of the place. The bed was comfy and so was the couch for a rainy afternoon nap. We came home early every evening to enjoy the sunset from our covered back porch. Beautiful countryside with mountain views. We would love to stay at the Cozy cabin again! LOVED it! Toni & ALyssa
Wonderful place to stay. Hosts were terrific and very thoughtful
We will definitely return. It was everything we had hoped it would be. Awesome GeGe!!!
This is an absolutely fantastic cabin! It's clean, warm, charming, private, and exactly as pictured. The bed is very comfortable and there are ample lights, chairs, and tables throughout for working or lounging with a cup of coffee. It has everything you might need for a short or extended stay, plus fresh eggs were a delicious bonus. The back yard is very dog friendly and the views from the rocking chairs are spectacular.
Gege was absolutely great and very communicative. Her husband Brian also shared a bunch of tips about places to go camping and canoeing in the mountains nearby. We truly enjoyed drawing on the back porch with their daughter Ava and playing fetch with Scout, both of whom got along famously with our dog as well.
We'd recommend this cabin to anyone and hope to visit again soon.
Had a wonderful time at GeGe's cabin. The interior was cozy, clean, comfortable and smelled wonderful. It had everything you could need, including a large kitchen and a washer and dryer. We didn't get to meet GeGe, but we did meet her golden retriever and if that ambassador is any indication; GeGe is a wonderful person (email hidden) to offer anyone looking to rest and relax in the Asheville area.
Speaking of that though, if you're (email hidden) as a jumping off point for exploring Asheville, I highly recommend it but don't be so quick to overlook Weaverville as well. Its downtown is certainly worth a trip while you are there. Several little restaurants and shops etc.
Another wonderful Airbnb experience and kudos to GeGe for the well-decorated, cozy space she has shared.
My girlfriend and I stayed at this Cabin over Valentine's Day Weekend and had a great time. We had dinner at the Grove Park Inn one night, the Biltmore the other, and lunch downtown twice! I say all that just to say we never felt too far away from the city. The cabin itself is so comfortable. We played cards, watched movies, and listened to music from the cabin's CD collection. We slept well in the bed and the kitchen had all the tools we needed to cook breakfast. I'm sure we will stay here again someday!
