Enjoy a nice, 2 bedroom 1 bath house in a quiet neighborhood in a great location. Large yard, nice deck, close to town, within walking distance to city parks and recreation center. Cortez is in a great location for visiting Mesa Verde National Park, Durango, Monument Valley, Telluride & many ancient ruins, mountains, canyons, hiking, rafting, skiing or whatever you might want to do. The bedrooms are large & colorful, the house is artistic and calming. A great place for your destination, along your route or as a place to feel like home while you work in the area. One bedroom has a queen bed, the second has a full size bed and is also set up as an office. Office has desks & wireless internet throughout house. One story for easy entry/exit.
Cortez is close to all that the Four Corners Area has to offer in this part of the Southwest. Mesa Verde National, Chaco Canyon, Hovenweep National Monument, the Canyon of the Ancients, Dolores River Canyon, Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and Monument Valley are to name a few that are "day trips" from my home. The property is within 2 hours from Pagosa Springs, 1 hour from Telluride, and 2 hours to Moab and within a 10 minutes to the Dolores River and within 90 miles of the San Juan River. Both of these rivers are "world" class fly fishing venues. There is hunting also within 30 miles of the property. There are numerous "single track" courses for the mountain bike enthusiasts including "Phil's World". The house is equal distance from Telluride Ski Resort and Durango Mountain Resort with lots of good cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing within as little as 30 minutes !

Guests will have access to the living areas and utility room. Large yard and organic redwood deck which can be used at all times of the year.

The neighborhood is an older, nicer well established one with large lots and mature trees. Quiet and comfortable, the backyard is a little oasis in a great location in town.
Convenient to Highways 145 and 160, parks, rec center, hospital, shopping and downtown. Easy place to bike or walk around. Rental car companies are in town as well as a cab service.

Don't see many reviews ? Little booking is through AirBNB, so feel free to ask for reviews and references.
No smoking in the house please. The property sits on a 1/2 acre lot IN town and a great location to parks, highways, restaurants, shopping. The yard is fenced and I will consider well behaved and trained dogs, ask for my policies and fees.
