The Loft at Pine Knoll Farm Kentucky is a unique horse farm stay located above our beautiful horse barn in the heart of horse country. We have prime views of the farm which is located in the center of the Bourbon Trail. 5 min to great restaurants in Midway! The Loft is 15 mins to The Kentucky Horse Park, 25 mins to Keenland, and Ark is 50 mins. Stabling/turnout available. We offer horse experiences/workshops/clinics through Kentucky Horse Experiences. The space
The large porch is the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the next door fishing ponds, enjoy a glass of wine in our rocking chairs or dine outside.

This unique apartment space was created from the hay loft above the horse barn. We have kept all the wonderful original features such as the old posts, beams and the original metal roof can be seen on the inside. The décor is an eclectic mix of industrial, open HVAC system, and traditional English style furnishings in keeping with our British heritage. We have a mix of contemporary and traditional equestrian art.

The master bedroom has a great view of the horse paddocks, with queen size bed and bathroom with shower ensuite. The living room space has an electric fireplace that looks just like a wood burning stove, large TV, a window seat to curl up and read and many sitting areas. We also have a desk for your computer (we have a printer) and it comes with a view. There is a full kitchen complete with dining table and bar seating on the living room side of the kitchen. This is a large open space.

Upstairs we have a sleeping loft that looks down into the living area but is completely private. There are 3 single beds in this space. The ensuite bathroom has a wonderful soaking tub in front of the window…the best view over the next door ponds. A great place to unwind and watch the sun go down.

We do want you to be aware that you are above a working barn so there are some noises you will hear: morning feed time may have a few of the herd being a little vocal etc. That is one of the things that make this such a special experience. You will most likely have a visit from our friendly barn cats when you are sitting out on the porch.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to explore our 28 acres, enjoy sitting on the beautiful teak bench overlooking the pond and the farm. The farm is a designated non-smoking space and no pets facility for their safety and that of our horses. Please see our rules section regarding horse interaction.

Other things to note
This mini retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind. This is perfect place to board your horse during a riding vacation, traveling to horse shows or attending local events(13x13 stalls and paddock turn out). We host a variety of clinics and workshops. We have an indoor arena and dry lot turnout. We can help provide services for you and your horse: massage, Reiki, osteopath (equine), Theraplate. We are happy to host from the “non-horsey” to top equestrian athletes.
