The building is a Victorian Terrace. The apartment is on the first floor at the front of the building. It was a dance studio and is now an apartment with a cosy sleeping loft. It has two beds, a queen in the loft and a double that folds down in the living space. It is very comfortably furnished.

I like to welcome Guests and show them their accommodation. My family and I live in the next street, so I am close by if Guests need something.
Wonderfully located on Victoria Street in Potts Point. Potts Point is Sydney's most cosmopolitan neighbourhood (think Soho London, The East Village NYC). Victoria Street is unique. Lined with beautiful trees, it starts at the Harbour and is filled with cafes and restaurants.
During the last decade Potts Point has become recognised as one of the most desirable places to live in Sydney. Many empty-nesters have sold their family homes in the suburbs and bought an apartment in the neighbourhood. Many young families now choose to live here, so much so that the sight of prams, once as rare in Potts Point as koalas, are now part of the diverse mix of locals. And why wouldn't anybody want to live here? It is the most cosmopolitan 'hood' in Australia. It is beautiful, grand old art deco buildings and harbour side parks; it is a walk to the city through the Botanic Gardens; you can get a coffee downstairs, and have a drink after dinner. It is all about amenity. It is a vibrant, living, inner-urban community.
It is one minute walk to the nearest train station (Kings Cross) or you can walk into the CBD in fifteen minutes. There is a goget car for hire by the hour on the street. Harbour-side parks are 5 minutes walk. The surf beaches are also a short train/ bus ride away.
Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens, Opera House, Art Gallery, Australian Museum, central business district & most tourist sites
- Taxis takes about 20 minutes and cost about $50 (depending on the time of day).
- Shuttle bus stops at the Holiday Inn just down the road. This costs $13 but takes longer as it makes a number of stops.
- Train. Domestic Airport Station to Kings Cross, a one way ticket is: $15.90 AUD
- Train. International Airport Station to Kings Cross, a one way ticket is: $16.70 AUD
Other Things to Note
Parking. Parking is subject to availability. The cost is $25 per day and must be booked at the time of your reservation. Our garage is on Ward Ave, a 5 minute walk.
Please note that if you are booking for the Christmas/New Year period we require a minimum stay of two weeks.
★ Leave the apartment as you found it is probably the best guide. Please wash dishes, take out rubbish, leave used towels in the shower and turn off lights and air-conditioning.
★ The sofa is not a bed. Linen is not provided for the sofa. Please do not use the sofa as a bed.
★ The apartment is non smoking. The security deposit will be withheld for smoking.
★ My family and I live in an apartment very close by. If there is anything that you need, we probably have a spare and you are welcome to it.
★ Please contact us prior to departure to notify us of any spills, damage or breakages. If we are not notified, the guest will be held liable for them.
★ If an appliance breaks and the technician who fixes it attributes the fault to user malfunction, the guest will be held liable for the reimbursement of repairs.
