Guests call it magical

Guests describe the stay as magical and peaceful, with many returning for anniversaries and getaways
Looking for the ultimate retreat to reset, recover, and rediscover? Welcome to the Sunset Reset Treehouse at Diamond Springs Ranch—your peaceful sanctuary on a working cattle/horse ranch, surrounded by nature’s finest offerings. This is the place where you can experience priceless sunsets, starry skies, crackling fire pits, and 2 miles of scenic walking trails—all from the comfort of your luxurious treehouse.

The space
This luxury treehouse has all the amenities! Running hot & cold water, indoor toilet, shower, electricity, heat and air conditioning offer total comfort in the trees.
350 square feet of beautiful pine tongue-in-groove and the nostalgia of barn wood from our family’s farmstead, interspersed with old growth Douglas fir custom milled by our friendly neighbors.
A loft bedroom with a queen bed and a hobbit door onto your own private balcony in the trees

Guest access
You have access to it all! Because sometimes off the beaten path is the best way home...
The allure of wide open spaces. The serenity of the vastness of the landscape. A chance to escape from the stress of the routine of city life. The silence in the solitude. An opportunity to slow down and unplug. To take in life instead of race through it.
Make some popcorn (provided) and sit a spell! It's time for a sunset reset.

Other things to note
If you are not familiar with the sounds of nature, you might wonder what you are hearing when you are sitting on the deck after dark.
- You may hear the yip-yipping of coyotes. (Don't worry! They will be close, but they are not dangerous to you.)
- You may hear the gentle lowing of our friendly cattle. They are curious about the treehouse & its guests! They often come by to see what's going on.
- You may hear the meows of our friendly cats. One of them, especially, likes to hang out by the treehouse.
- You may hear the steady croaking of our local bullfrogs. They enjoy singing at dusk & often into the night.
- You may hear the high pitched buzzing/singing of the cicadas.

DESIGNED BY TREEHOUSE MASTERS

Many of you have watched Treehouse Masters on TV. We have had the good fortune of knowing one of the producers/designers on this program. He has designed and helped us bring this lodge in the trees to life. We believe once you experience the ranch life at the end of the dirt road you will want to come back again and again just to reset your life. We invite you to experience lodge living in the trees.

Pet fee is $100 per stay. Well behaved dogs are welcome! Please keep your dog with you and under control at all times.

Trail rides also available on the ranch!

Now Available! – The Sunset Schooner Covered Wagon!
We’re excited to introduce a new, charming covered wagon to our rental offerings. This nostalgic 1880s-style covered wagon is another way to experience the tranquility of the ranch with a bit of vintage flair—perfect for those seeking a more adventurous stay under the stars.

Neighborhood highlights

A note about pets... We love our pets here at the ranch & we want you to enjoy having your pets with you in the treehouse! (We do ask for a pet fee because fur babies make a little more work for our cleaners.)

If your pet is a cat, we don’t recommend bringing him or her with you to the treehouse. If you do bring them, you must keep them in a pet container while inside the treehouse. We have family members who are allergic to cats. When you are outside, keep an eye on your cat. We have wild coyotes who would like to entice your sweet kitty away from you & they don’t play nice with cats.

Well behaved dogs are welcome! Pet fee is $100 per stay. Please keep your dog with you and under control at all times. We have cattle and a goat and cats and other dogs. Dogs tend to want to bark at and chase our animal friends. That stresses out our animal friends and we don’t want that.
