Imagine staying in a renovated 19th century windmill, immersing yourself in the peaceful forest surroundings.

Nested on top of a forested hill, the windmill location allows you to enjoy the adjacent trails and bathe in nature and also explore some of the best Silver coast beaches, only a few min away.

Explore Nazaré, a quaint fisherman's town, known for the biggest waves in the world, the picturesque port town of Sao Martinho and the medieval village of Óbidos, all only a few minutes away.

The space
Our windmill is a unique accommodation that has been renovated and designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind.

It features one kitchen and dining area in the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the two remaining floors.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, a small fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and an induction cooker. This area also features a beautiful closed fireplace, which also provides heating in the colder months.

On the second floor you will find one bedroom with a day bed /sofa - this sofa bed has bed mattresses to ensure maximum comfort and it can be set as an individual bed or as a double bed.

On this floor you will also find a Scandinavian design inspired bathroom, with a toilet and a rain shower. The hand washing basin is the original windmill basin that has been incorporated into the new interior design.

The third and top floor bedroom features a beautiful wooden ceiling and a panoramic window with a magnificent view to the forest and the hill.

In the outdoor area, apart from beautiful greenery and vegetation, you will also find a BBQ corner and an outdoor furniture area, so you can enjoy Summer's outdoor eating to the fullest, as you watch the wind on the tree tops.

Imagine the solitude of a forest, whilst being a short drive away from "real life". That is the uniqueness that our "neighborhood" can offer.

Our windmill is located in the midst of a beautiful forest that makes you feel truly connected with nature, but it's also within walking distance from a typical Portuguese village with all the amenities you will need, providing a unique setting.

The nearby village has a couple of coffee shops, restaurants, a supermarket and even a pharmacy and beauty salon.

There is also a really lovely playground area that is perfect for kids.

Our windmill is also a few minutes away from Nazaré and Sao Martinho do Porto beaches and less than one hour drive from Lisbon's airport.
