  • This apartment was perfect for the trip my three friends and I took to Florence. Francesco was quick to respond and very accommodating. The apartment, besides being very generously sized for four people, came with a well-stocked kitchen and was very conveniently located not only in relation to the train station but also to all of the major sites in Florence. The front of the full-floor unit overlooks the street while the back looks out onto a wonderful garden, which was absolutely beautiful. Even better, the street is home to three bustling restaurants (we ate at the stylish and incredibly yummy Trattoria dei 13 Gobbi) and seems to become a bit of a scene for night life. I would definitely rent this apartment again with friends — it was perfect.

  • The host is very nice and friendly, the house contains almost everything and is very clean and wonderful, the host prepared almost everything for us, which is so convenient for us. All the equipment in the house are in good condition and since we're learning designing, we really consider it as a excellent house. Also the location of the house is good, quite near the station and easy to find, surroundings are of convenient as shops everywhere, easy to go to sceneries.

Only one tiny problem is that it is not so quiet in the night, but it must be someone's shouting after drinking, not the fault of the house and the host.

  • Francesco's apartment is cosy and large. It is just a few blocks from SMN station. We went to and left Florence by train and its location is perfectly suitable for us. Francesco is helpful and welcoming.

This was our first visit in Florence and we stayed for 3 days 2 nights only, which was too short in this beautiful city. Hope we could visit Florence in near future.

  • Lovely apartment. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 kids. The apartment is big and more than comfortable. And very centrally located. Just a couple of blocks of the river and very close to the Train Station.

Francesco was a very good host. We would definitely stay there again, and recommend this apartment to others

  • Novella House is a great place to stay in Florence. We came in from the train station and the apartment is only a few minutes walk. The apartment is more than enough space for 4 people. While it's not modern, it has lots of Italian charm. All the main attractions are within walking distance from the apartment which is very convenient. Francesco was very welcoming and helpful upon our checkin.

  • Novella House was the perfect place for our stay in Florence! It is the perfect location, especially if you're coming in by bus/train and want to drop your bags and go sightseeing immediately. We were a group of 5 girls and having two bathrooms was such a luxury and definitely worth it. Not to mention the rest of the flat is wonderful, with two bedrooms, two living rooms, a full kitchen, and comfortable beds for all. Francesco was wonderful and accommodating and we encountered no problems whatsoever. There was some street noise and noise from children in flats around ours, but that's out of his control. Everything was beyond satisfactory and we were so sad to have to leave after only two nights!

  • We stayed at Novella House for two entire weeks and had a fantastic time. Great apartment, wonderful location.

  • We found ourselves in the heart of Florence at Francesco's apartment and not far from the main attractions we were interested in, such as the Uffizi and the Accademia. We were met by Francesco's mother who made us feel very welcome.

The apartment is large and airy, with two large sitting rooms, a kitchen and two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large private bathroom with a tub. The second bedroom was located on the other end of the apartment. The second large bathroom was located off the hall and had a shower. Perfect for two couples and perhaps a single individual who could sleep on a cot in one of the sitting rooms.

The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was some noise on the street side of the apartment, but nothing that an Italian grandmother couldn't bring to an end.

We were referred to an excellent restaurant just a block away. Ask the host.We enjoyed our stay and would return.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Florence! It was very spacious and clean and the location was great! We had a bit of a problem getting in to the apartment since we arrived late due to construction traffic delays on the road, but it was resolved satisfactorily by Francesco and his kind mother. Francesco was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to experience Florence...just make sure you have a cell phone or a way to communicate other than email.

  • Francesco was extremely accommodating, it was perfect location, close to everything! We just had a bit of noise, I got woken up two mornings at 4am by noisy people in the street. Which is not Francesco's fault.
