We love our dogs and yours are welcome. Please be considerate of other guests and keep dogs off the beds and take your dogs away from the cabin to do their business.

This is wild country. Wild animals are in the area. You will see squirrels, songbirds, ducks, geese, trumpeter and tundra swans, and from time to time bald and golden eagles. Whitetail deer and Mule deer frequent the property. Big Horn Sheep and Elk are occasionally in the area.
BE BEAR AWARE!!
DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUTSIDE.
We do have black bears and grizzly bear in the area and they will come around once in awhile.

Relax and enjoy the sounds of the creek and mountains!

We are at the trailhead to the Bob Marshall Wilderness. There are multiple trails for hiking around the area.
Gibson Reservoir is just a mile from the property. Bring your canoes, paddle boards, boat ( 4x4 recommended for launch). This is mountain water so it is cold.
There are a few geocaching sites in the area.
A must stop is the ancient hand prints and paintings just before the cabin when you cross the bridge. These are thousands of years old.
There is fishing access on the reservoir as well as on the Sun River. You may catch Rainbow, Brown and Cutthroat trout with a possibility of Grayling and Brook trout.
We have a few board games and card games for those times you may have to be inside.

We are in a great place for horseback day rides. You may bring your horses, however, please let us know ahead of time. We have a dedicated area for them. (certified weed free feed is required. Please flush your animals ahead of time)
Horse rentals are available from our friends at Sun Canyon Lodge just down the road.
Sun Canyon also has a restaurant and full bar if you would like to take a break from cooking while you are here.
