Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination.

The space
This is a quaint little store that was built in 1943 by Lille Thomas and her husband. She had worked at her fathers store when she was young down the street. Which her father had built a 16’ bar which is now in the Airbnb. Also the original white shelving is all still there. This is where she would display all her items that she would sell anything your local stores would sell.

Guest access
You’ll have the whole little store to yourself. Also there will be the bike rack available and a dog kennel. Out front parking or park over by the old gas pumps which is lit up all night long. Sit out front in the morning or in the evenings under the original old roll out fabric awning on the two wood benches. Relax and watch the local farmers go by, side by sides, atv’s, bike riders. Then you’ll see all of families going to our awesome state park Palisades. It’s just miles up the road from our little Airbnb. It’s a must see beautiful getaway for a hike, golfing, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking. For a picnic or for a bite to eat at the little restaurant.

Other things to note
Being the original AC/heater it can be a little noisy and get a little chilly. So there’s extra blankets to cuddle up with.

Neighborhood highlights

It’s a quiet little town. The store sits on Highway 89 so it can be a little noisy with traffic and our local Norbest has turkey trucks transporting turkeys. But it’s fun to see the local farmer drive by with their tractors, etc. There is a church across the street, a little local gas station down the street as well an ATV rental shop.

Love hanging out and spending time with family and friends and our with our twelve grandkids. I love spending time outside in the summer going to lake, taking side by side rides, riding horses or doing misc. projects. Taking on remodeling projects with my husband. I am blessed to work out in the construction field with my 90 year old dad and learn new things everyday. I Love making the Airbnb to fit special occasions for your visit.
