Villa Ariana is a sophisticated private tropical escape, nestled in the lush, sun-drenched hills of Tortola’s West End.

A beautifully appointed, four-bedroom Tuscan-inspired property at Smuggler’s Cove, this glorious villa boasts an infinity pool and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, just steps away from one of the most idyllic beaches in the BVI.

The space
This home has been designed as a sanctuary where friends and family can gather, relax and celebrate the good things in life. The property takes full advantage of the comfortable subtropical climate. Its distinctive design features high vaulted ceilings and expansive shaded outdoor areas, perfect for relaxing, socializing and al fresco dining at any hour. The sun’s warmth is perfectly balanced by gently cooling ocean breezes.

While it’s easy to while away days by the pool or at the beach, when the outside world beckons again, it’s just a 15-minute drive southwest to Soper’s Hole Marina, which features shops, restaurants and sailing charters. The West End is also minutes away, with ferry services to St. Thomas, USVI or Jost Van Dyke. Heading eastward along Tortola’s north coast, it’s an easy drive to the beautiful beaches of Long Bay and Cane Garden Bay.

Villa Ariana is ideal for family vacations, groups of friends or romantic escapes.

An infinity pool with stunning views of the ocean is framed by three buildings, carefully separated for privacy: the Main House, the Studio and the Guest House. In total they offer a choice of four spacious bedrooms. The Main House features a vaulted ceiling over an open-concept kitchen and spacious living room. When the four French doors are open, the outdoors becomes the indoors, completely exposing you to the wonderful Caribbean breezes. Enjoy the expansive, covered al fresco dining area with built-in top-end gas BBQ grill, stunning pool terrace and a sheltered “grotto” space with a custom-built bar located underneath the Studio. You’ll no doubt spend most of your time outside, enjoying the island’s glorious weather and magnificent vistas…quite simply a picture postcard of paradise.

The two-storey Main House offers two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. The king bedroom on the ground floor has direct deck access, ocean view, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower that includes a space to sit while showering – perfect for guests with limited mobility. On the second floor, there is an even larger bedroom (1 king/2 twins) with a private balcony, ocean view, walk-in closet, full bathroom with large bathtub and shower, and an adjoining alcove that has a twin bed and crib. The two-story Guest House has one large bedroom with king bed and full ensuite bathroom, an ocean view, a private balcony and an adjoining small room with one queen bed suitable for two children. The Studio bedroom has a queen bed with ocean views and an adjoining living room with double sofa bed, writing desk, a powder room, and tucked away outside, an enclosed stone outdoor shower.

Designed by a lady who loved to cook, both the Main House and Guest House have large, fully-equipped modern, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The Guest House has an open-concept kitchen and cozy living space with beautiful French doors opening to glistening ocean and pool views. Relax, sip a cocktail, read a book on one of the comfortable reading chairs or curl up on the sofa while you watch TV or listen to some music.

*The road from Long Bay to Smuggler’s Cove is a quiet, unpaved track that winds through a lush and undeveloped part of Tortola. It’s rarely busy and adds to the off-the-beaten-path feel of the area, making the journey part of the experience—especially for those who appreciate a more laid-back, scenic route away from the main roads.
