The Space

A quiet residential upmarket location less than a seven minute walk to the city centre/downtown. This charming and elegant three bedroom apartment with balcony overlooking cityscape is my home. Quiet, secure property. Swimming pool on the premises. Access to the kitchen limited. Safe location with great views of the city and the greenery that Nairobi is known for. Two of the city’s best known public parks are within a 5 minute walk as is public transport. Hotels, shopping, hospitals, good restaurants, gyms and other facilities close by. Nairobi National Park, a unique wildlife game reserve within a 10 minute drive.
I enjoy meeting people and am happy to provide tips on fun stuff to do, places to eat etc. I have a second room with futon as a double bed (see photos of "We are hats") and if requested can also be rented.

  • Location is perfect for enjoying Nairobi. It is a safe well secured community. The accommodations were very comfortable and very warm and inviting. The BIG PLUS however, is Musabi, Sabi, as her friends call her. She is a sophisticated yet very down to earth hostess and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. My work was too demanding or I would have enjoyed many more hours on the balcony in very interesting conversation with this very kind, classy and intelligent woman, Sabi.
Thanks for a great stay, Dave

  • Although we didn't spend much time at the house, Musabi's place is a wonderful lodging option for anybody traveling through Nairobi. Its conveniently located and has all the amenities that make for a very comfortable stay. Musabi was so helpful in recommending activities, trustworthy cab drivers and places to grub/hang out and was an all-around joy to chat with and get to know! I highly recommend her place as a much better (and more affordable!) option to the hotels in the city.

  • This was my first ever visit via Airbnb and what a pleasant surprise. Musabi kindly accepted me though I contacted her far less than her one week’s notice period and I am very thankful that she did it. She is a kind and excellent hostess. She left me with drinking water and Nairobi instructions, provided me with a comfy bed and access to her lovely house, full of character. She herself is an eclectic, sharp, well educated and charming person. The time was short and our schedules busy so we did not get to pass much time together but I am hoping that we will meet up again in Nairobi (or somewhere else in the world)!

  • To put it plainly: Sabi is the best host a traveler could ask for - and then some! She not only welcomes you into her warm home, she takes you under her wing. Within hours I felt I was staying with a friend and, thanks to her generous hospitality and gregarious personality, I feel I truly got to experience life in Nairobi. I couldn't have wished for more!
