Welcome to Fox Tail Cabin
We fell in love with this spot the first time we drove down the gravel road and the trees opened up to the valley. That's the feeling we hope you get too. Fox Tail Cabin sits on 28 private, wooded acres in the heart of Hocking Hills, and once you're here, it's just you, the forest, and some of the best sunsets in Ohio.
Room to Relax
The hot tub fits six and the stars out here are unreal, so that's where most folks end up at night. During the day you've got the indoor fireplace if it's chilly, and a fire pit out back when you're ready for s'mores. We kept the WiFi fast (Starlink) so you can stream Disney+, Netflix, and Peacock or get a little work done if you have to. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfy with soft hypoallergenic bedding, and there's room for 7 across three bedrooms.
Quiet, But Not in the Middle of Nowhere
You'll feel completely tucked away, but the good stuff is just a short drive:
Conkle's Hollow — about 9 miles
Old Man's Cave & Hocking Hills State Park — about 10 miles
Tar Hollow State Park — about 8 miles
Rock House — about 11 miles
Spend the day hiking or ziplining, then come back, kick your shoes off, and let the quiet take over.

• Well water: Safe for drinking and bathing, though some guests prefer bottled water.
• Gravel drive: Due to the remote location and steep drive, 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended.
• Wildlife & pests: We treat professionally each season, but nature occasionally sneaks in.
• Internet: We proudly offer Starlink high-speed WiFi for reliable connectivity.
