The space

NO PETS. Studio sleeps 2 MAX. Adults only. We offer 2 CM beach tags that are required. Complementary organic coffee/tea bar. Standard condiments in fridge.. A continental breakfast of sorts is included: yogurt, OJ, bagels. This variety differs daily, but surely there will be something you can start your day, The studio is attached to our home and stands within our home, and sits off a side street in back of the house. Your private entrance faces a side street. Park there. Owners entrance faces the main road. It's possible with windows open you may hear traffic at times which we have no control over. Please consider if you are staying for quietness. We are night-owls as opposed to early risers, so feel free to come/go as you please. Think of it as being a "room" in a BNB, but with more space. We do not want you to be disappointed upon your arrival. Please be sure you understand the living arrangement before you book.
We offer beach towels, beach blankets, bikes, umbrella, totes, coolers, fishing buckets, floats, etc, whatever we have is yours. We have pretty much everything. We no longer offer beach chairs as they often are returned broken and are quite costly, so you do need to bring them along. We charge a very minimal cleaning fee (laundry) so we ask that you leave the place as you found it.

Other things to note

We are always updating our listing as we approach findings/ideas. Check back for new features/amenities. The flat/studio is private however, we share the yard and outside shower. The room was built as a 'mother-in-law addition' to live in year round. Though, for a few nights we think it's bearable for a twosome. Short-term rentals only with a 3 night max. The day bed is a real mattress, as is the trundle. The trundle is not a pop-up. It pulls out but hugs the floor. During the day it acts as a sofa. Each bed is a single. There are 2 fans. A ceiling, and floor. We recently added an A/C. We are trying to see if it is affordable. We want to keep our rental prices competitive. We are asking you to not turn it down and to keep windows closed when on. If we notice it on and see windows open, we WILL go in and shut the windows. So you have been informed. We dislike wasting energy. We try our best to use 100% white cotton linens and intend to keep furbishing the beds with them when possible. All linens are air dried. Please use the same (orange) beach towels during your stay. They will be fine for 2 days. Also we offer a beach blanket. Please do not take white blankets from bed to beach. You will find a binder loaded with short-cuts and local eateries. A menu/suggestion bin contains info. Check it out!

Everything in Nancy's descriptions are accurate. It's a great private space with a private entrance. She was very quick to respond to my inquiries and was very pleasant to make arrangements with. Perfect space for 2 people for a few nights. It's less than 15 minutes to town, and each time we drove, it felt shorter and shorter. Small kitchen is stocked with necessities (salt, pepper, coffee, tea, pans, plates, etc.). Her small notes around the apartment were helpful as well. You won't regret staying here. Thank you, Nancy!

This cottage is a small, self-contained mother-in-law suite. It is extremely well equipped down to the herbs and spices in the kitchen. Although Nancy is very clear in her description, please be aware that the daybed trundle is at floor level. If that is a problem for you, book elsewhere. Although there is a goodly stroll through the backyard to get to the cottage, It is extremely well lit. There are bikes, beach passes, and even flip-flops! They seem to have thought of everything. Enjoy this cottage and Cape May!

Nancy's cozy place is cute and close to just about anything you might want to do in the Wildwood or Cape May areas. As we had two cars, we appreciated the guest parking area.

Nancy and Joe's place was great for a couple of nights stay. We recommend harpoons for dinner to catch a spectacular sunset. It's about a 15 minute drive to the ocean but there are plenty of gorgeous Victorian homes to gawk at along the way. They are very friendly hosts. Cute little efficiency.

Nancy and Joe are wonderful hosts. Great communication before and during stay. The space was perfect for us- private bathroom, mini-kitchen and the day-bed and trundle worked for us.

We plant herbs, vegetables and flowers. Haven't mastered a green thumb yet. Raised in SW Philadelphia, so gardening and green lawns are new to us. I dabble in mosaics, Joe recycles bikes, and we DIY everything, (not by choice). We shop flea markets, thrift stores, yard/estat…
