Furnished bell tent sleeps 3 adults in a double and single bed. We can also put in a camp bed for a family of 4 if the kids are under 18 years. Sit by your outdoor firepit after exploring the beauty of Skye or relax in the comfort of your tent. Compost toilet, the unique greenhouse shower and sociable Hub and Shack are part of the off grid experience. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement only for an additional charge.

The space
Skye Eco Bells is a unique Glamping site on the Isle of Skye. We only have 1 Bell Tent and 3 Cosy Cabins to keep the site small so you can enjoy some tranquility and time to relax and unwind whilst having a great base to explore all of Skye.
The site has no electricity or WiFi so you can really disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with the important things.......each other and the stunning natural landscape around you.

Guest access
You will have your own fully furnished Bell tent which sleeps 3 in a double and a single bed. Each tent also has it's own fire pit and BBQ area to enjoy outdoor fires and sit under the stars with a drink or 2! Firewood is available to buy on site. Guests also have access to The Hub, a social camp kitchen that is fully kitted out for all your cooking needs and furnished in a cosy style with candle lanterns and a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings. The Shack provides additional cooking/eating space and is convenient for making that morning cup of coffee to start your day of exploring.
The site also has a unique greenhouse shower and composting toilet that fit in with our eco credentials and reduce our impact upon the environment.

Other things to note
It will take approximately 6 to 7 hours to drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh and at least 3 hours from Inverness or Fort William. Inverness or Fort William are the last opportunity to shop at a large supermarket. We don't live at the campsite so we operate a self check-in system. If you need us to meet you on arrival please contact us the day before to arrange a suitable time. We cannot meet new arrivals after 6pm and we are unable to meet guests who have not arranged a check-in time.

Welcome to Skye Eco Bells Glamping! We think it's really important to meet all our guests upon arrival so we can show you around what we view as an extension of our home. It's really appreciated that you contact us with an accurate arrival time as we don't live at the campsite. We can also advise and talk you through some great options for visiting places and great spots to eat & drink. We have travelled all over the world and love to explore. The kind of places we stay vary greatly but what we most love is the people we stay with. We both work as well as running Skye Eco Bells and our passion is for the outdoors and the Isle of Skye, we hope you may feel the same way too. You can relax and unwind in our fully furnished cabins and bell tent which sleep up to 3 and are furnished with comfortable bedding and throws with vintage and up-cycled furniture throughout. The tents are lit by cosy candle lanterns and take you back to a simpler time. We are off grid so no electricity but we do have a phone charger to power up your phones so you can take lots of pics of the stunning scenery. Also is a unique gas shower and composting toilet. We also have The Hub & The Shack where you can cook, socialise and warm yourself on those cooler evenings by the stove and have a wee dram or glass of wine to talk through your adventures had and those to come. We can direct you to some of the fantastic places on Skye and some of those lesser known beauty spots so you can fall in love with Skye too! We look forward to meeting you Scott & Nadia

During your stay
We try to meet all our guests at some point during their stay but as we have a young family and other jobs, we may not be able to meet you on arrival. So we operate a self check-in system : When you arrive at Eco Bells please park sensibly, without blocking in other guests cars. You will find a noticeboard with details of your tent and a map of the site. In your tent you will find an information book about Eco Bells, things to do and places to eat. Either Scott or Nadia will be on site at some point every day so if you have any questions feel free to ask. If we are not about, our telephone numbers are in the information book. If we are about when you arrive, we will give you a tour of the site and answer any questions you might have. If you really want us to meet you on arrival, you will need to arrange a suitable time with us, no later than 6pm.
