• Josh and Amy's G.O.A.T. Lodge in Burnsville, N.C. was THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!! Seriously, what an awesome accessible location to be in the mountains of North Carolina. If you're looking for a cozy lodge-like atmosphere, this is it! We were able to take advantage of all of the adventures surrounding Burnsville. The town is like the town you wish Ashville was 30 years ago. It's local but has a lot to do. We went downtown and shopped around, spotted quilt squares on the quilt square trail, hiked a local waterfall, checked out Homeplace brewing and MORE.
The GOAT Lodge itself is MAGNIFICENT. We fit 3 families comfortably. The amenities are awesome. #1 GOATS!!! #2 Hot Tub! #3 The fireplace in the living room+kitchen=cozy and warm! We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner! Josh and Amy thought of everything! The beds were comfortable, coffee was delicious, washer+dryer=game changer, decor and furnishings were SPOT ON!

Your pets deserve a vacation too! Our cabin welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs (up to 50 lbs) or cats (pet fee: $75 per stay applies).
Only pre-approved dogs or cats under 50 lbs are permitted. A $75 pet fee applies per stay. Pets must remain leashed and under adult supervision at all times outdoors. No pets are allowed in or near the fenced goat enclosures under any circumstances. All pet waste must be bagged and disposed of immediately using the provided supplies. Unauthorized pets, damage, or failure to follow these rules will result in additional cleaning or damage fees and may lead to early termination of the stay without refund.
