The space
Welcome to Lone Wolf Outpost—a modern-rustic retreat set on a truly one-of-a-kind private creek. Nothing else in this region offers what you’ll experience here.
We’ve transformed a classic ranch mobile home into a charming, upgraded escape with brand new furniture, cozy beds, and stylish details—designed to help you reconnect with nature, your partner, or just yourself.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the backyard and creek just off the patio of the cabin. They will also have access to the deck areas behind the creek and hammock in the trees. There is also a dog run fenced area in front of the unit.
*** The Creekside Retreat sits on a 7 acre ranch that is a planned multi-short term rental and Glamping campground. There is a main house, shop/apartment, and barn used by the owner and family along with possible work being done to structures or future Glamping sites. Even though the property is large and spacious, we all practice respecting each other's privacy. Though, don't ever hesitate to say hi or stop to chat if you see us out running about on the ranch***
Other things to note
While we love sharing our space and its flowing creek, there needs to be a common respect for it and the nature that surrounds it. We work hard to make our ranch usable, while still taking care of nature and being good stewards of the land.
You may get in, sit, put your feet in, dip your head on hot days (my favorite), or lay down in the creek to enjoy the flowing snow melt and spring water that naturally flows through our property.
Though, do not pour or put anything in the creek ever. No glass is allowed near the creek or food ever.
We love the critters on the ranch, but they are efficient and don't waste time to create havoc! All food must be cleaned up immediately after you're done. The ants and hornets will only take hours (sometimes minutes) to show up in droves, and the raccoons will be there when the sun goes down, guaranteed! Please respect your surroundings and the critters will usually stay away.
As much as we want everyone to enjoy the Retreat, please be aware there are steps to access all areas of the Retreat. While only 3-5 steps high, unfortunately we are not handicap accessible.
This is the mountains, there are bugs everywhere so please be aware that you will likely encounter some. If you are allergic, afraid, triggered, or otherwise don't tolerate bugs... this may not be the space for you. We have bug spray onsite for our guests to use and we provide regular exterminator service to the unit. Though the daddy-long-legs spiders and nighttime "vampire" ants will show back up "here and there" every couple of days. The bug spray handles them but food trash management is key. Extra contractor trash bags are available to put trash in and move to trash cans outside.
Please note we run on septic so do not flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper.
The ranch's water is supplied from a natural flowing artesian water spring that is stored in a 250g storage tank. The water is filtered prior to use, but a Brita water reservoir is available in the fridge for drinking and cooking water for that added level of purification. Due to limited storage capacity, please limit water use to what is only necessary.
We have Starlink WIFI at the ranch that is normally very good, though the satellite dish can be affected during weather storms and slow or interrupt service temporarily. This has only happened on a couple of occasions and was back to normal within a couple of hours.
If perfectly reliable, Internet connection and a specific speed is required by you for work or another reason you may want to consider bringing your own personal network device.
